I hired Robert Rocha and I had a terrible, experience. He was always too busy to hear my concerns, I would always have to communicate through his assistant. On top of that, his assistant was changed several times so every time I had to explain my situation all over again (as if they didn't have any record of my case). As soon as he got paid he sent me a letter saying that he was not going to be my lawyer because I told him that I was not satisfied with the settlement or handling of my case. I got hurt in 2001 with no info on how to select a workers comp attorney. Confused and in pain went into office nearest where I lived. Blind Faith is all I had. At first, I thought it made no difference in selecting an attorney. I returned to work. The years went by and I called to see if I could close the case. The first request was denied by the employer. Later on Kelli and Curtis tried again and the employer took care of business. Will always be grateful to this employer. If I could go back and remove the injury would do so. No one ever wants to get hurt. Not all WC attorneys are alike. I had to do what was asked of me in settling the case. Paper work, dates, timing are important. All calls are returned. I had a terrible experience with Mr. Rocha. I was injured during an incident at work and I had Robert Rocha take the case. Robert took close to 1.5 years to complete my case. This attourney not only took a long time to complete the case but he also had terrible communication. I attempted to address an issue about my settlement check not being for the proper amount about 5-6 times and all I got was a rude response from the secretary and no return phone call from Mr. Rocha. I even once went to Mr. Rocha's office to address the issue and the secretary walked away from me in the middle of our conversation. I eventually had to go to my company's cheif financial advisor to have him look over my case and figure out that my check was for the improper amount. My company's chief financial advisor then called my insurance company and finally got my issue taken care of. I would not recommend Robert F. Rocha to anyone looking for an attorney. read more
