I dont remember exactly how i found Dawn, but I am sure glad I did!…read more A few months prior to hiring her, our home was 80% damaged from a supply line bursting. We have had to move out to temporary housing and pack up (purge) our entire home (35 years of our lives) while my husband worked his FT job and we kept our tourist rentals going. Physically, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, It has been a lot and frankly, still is! Dawn became my Life Coach in the middle of all this! She has kept me afloat! Her advice has been instrumental in helping me work through the struggles of hiring, firing, and hiring a 2nd contractor and to stand up against a vendor's devious actions. With her help, I've been able to navagate during my anguishing mental State of Emergency. Her insight, business savy, and listening skills have drastically helped me with this trauma as well as with the juggeling of our personal RE business and the adjustment of our daughter's recent launching. I interviewed two other Life Coaches and Dawn was the shining star from our first conversation. Although, I'd love to meet her over lunch sometime, our distance has not been an issue. She has been easily available via texting, phone calls, or video calls.

I FOUND HER! All my…read morelife I've been searching to talk to my inner-self, my guide, my third eye what ever you want to call it. In just 1 session I was immediately brought the front door, unlocking the connection to my wiser self. SHORT STORY: Call and make the appointment. You won't regret it. Donna is great at what she does. She knows how to guide you on the path you wish to travel sort of speak. Her session pack a punch and is worth every penny and every minute. Be warned the deep relaxing sessions are addictive. You want to go back for more. You will feel a sense of happiness, refreshment and accomplishment when you "wake up" from your session. MORE DETATILS: I WAS skeptical about hypnosis. All I knew about it was from TV and movies. It's hokey and who wants to cluck like a chicken. Hey at one point of my life I viewed going to therapy was for the "weak". Now because of TV shows like the Sopranos, therapy is no longer a mystery and completely socially acceptable. Research. The key is to demystify hypnosis. I looked up a tons of videos and articles. I came across Donna's thorough and detailed videos. The way she talked about hypnosis was less scary, less magical and more scientific and practical. The videos help you get familiar not only with the process but with Donna who will guide you and make you feel more comfortable to make that call and make an appointment. Office. The office on the 1st floor and is conveniently located where there is lots of parking. The space is a typical office you'd expect, clean and tidy. You have a "pregame chat" or discovery chatI call it, then do the actual hypnosis in a nice cozy room. The process: -First you start with a pregame chat where Donna guides you with questions to explore what kind of things you would like to work on and what messages you want to suggest or impress upon your subconscious. -Then you head into the hypnosis room, where you sit in big comfy recliner with a big fuzzy blanket and lights dimmed down. -Next Donna plays some relaxing meditation music as she guides you into deep relaxation. She will get you into this deep and deeper relaxation state. Even if you have trouble focusing Donna's calm and soothing voice will allow you to just slow down. I promise. -When you reach this deep state of relaxation she will start saying suggestions about what you talked about earlier and slowly guided you back up to reality. - You "wake up" feeling amazing. The actual hypnosis will feel like hours when in reality it was only 10-15 minutes. Cost: I signed up for the 5 sessions. Price wise it is comparable to the cost of a phycologist. Well worth it! Hypnosis vs Therapy: I think therapy is wonderful and everyone can use someone to talk to. The con with therapy is that its a long process and you talk about stuff and discovery belief systems that don't serve you and talk about it some more on an Ego level. Hypnosis cuts to the chase! Identify the thought that does does not serve you and replace it with a thought that does serve you and programs you towards your goal. I have discovered more with Donna in our short period of time than I did in years of therapy. Again therapy is not bad. Its like going to a trainer and talking about a fitness plan versus actually doing it and seeing results. I wish you good luck on your hypnosis. You will love it.

I was always curious about goat yoga but only saw…read moreplaces all the way out east that had it, until I stumbled upon Buddha Barn which is so closeby to my house! With covid regulations in place, goat yoga was outdoors in the concrete area to the side of the building, on a beautiful September evening. There were some decorations/greenery and tents if anyone preferred shade. Kelly the owner and yoga teacher was inspiring, clear in her yoga instructions, and made sure everyone social distanced and understood mask regulations. I took the name of this place quite literally thinking it was a real barn and figured the goats would live on premises, but Karen graciously shared her farm animals with us by bringing them from out east for the event- she brought about 5 goats and a special guest Muriel a very social sweet alpaca who easily became my favorite and was so soft!! The yoga class itself was about 45 minutes and very gentle- great for beginners but also still a good workout for those experienced. Do not expect your typical peaceful experience when you're lying on your mat and suddenly a goat is looming over you haha but they are just saying hello.. also Bellmore avenue was pretty loud with cars due to rush hour but Kelly made jokes about it which I appreciated. Kelly and Karen left time at the end (well, the beginning too if you arrived early!) for petting time, selfies, and photo ops with the animals which was smart since they know that's why most of the crowd came. Something to note for all goat yoga (not just this location)- but the goats drop little poops and pee throughout the class so be alert with your belongings (luckily it was visible where it was since it was on concrete).. but it was cleaned up quickly and considerately. They have a fenced section that you can keep your belongings (which I did luckily so they wouldn't nibble on my bag) but some people needed their phones by their sides during the class so.. proceed at your own risk! Lol. I hope to be back next season when more outdoor events take place..I know some friends that are already interested in joining me. Thanks Kelly and Karen for a unique experience! :)

It was a decent class, but there was a lot of talking throughout, so I personally didn't find it that relaxing. I'm also new to yoga in general, but the instructor didn't help me at all when I had the wrong form or I didn't understand a term. It was a cute and clean studio, but the class was very average compared to the other studios I've been going to. I wish I could give 3.5, but I also don't think it was a 4.
