The exterior of the house looked new again! Additionally, the sidewalk areas, sunroom roof and driveway all came out beautifully.  As a special note, EJ made the windows look sparkling new! Simply magnificent!  The realtor stated it was one of the best power washing jobs they have ever seen! Besides the outstanding job done in enhancing our mother's home, EJ was an absolute professional to work with! He is a very caring respectful gentleman, who explained all the details and information.  EJ and the Fore's team truly was one of the best decisions I have ever made in hiring a home improvement service company. Thank you, EJ, and my warmest regards of appreciation and gratitude. YOU ARE THE VERY BEST! Robert J. Koenig

Asked for pricing for spring clean up with a few potential areas to add on, owner refused to price…read morehow we discussed and prices were very high. Do not recommend as follow up is slow or nonexistent. Update - the quote was 1100 for mulch only when I had asked for updates to remove items as the creeping juniper did not meet what I had asked for - pricing doubled. This is less then 2.5 yards of mulch. When I asked for clarification owner did not reply and only offered a time to connect when I was not available. No taxes ever got discussed (screenshot of text attached - cash payment can be different with credit card charges - it is not illegal to ask this). Due to my lack of confidence during the quoting process I found a great company to use instead of this one!

Jason and his partner were also the most available, so we went ahead and asked them over to give us a quote. The price was very fair, so we asked them to do the work right then and there. An hour later our gutters were clean and they disposed of the mess! Several things impressed us about their business. First, their professionalism, cleanliness and eagerness to work. Second was the very fair price. The third thing is something they did not do. My wife and I were considering having covers installed on our gutters so as to eliminate the need to have them cleaned once or twice each year. When we asked Jason about the benefits of covers, I was expecting to get railroaded into a much more expensive situation. But Jason did the opposite, he told us why we are better off NOT installing covers. That showed some integrity in my opinion. I definitely plan to keep calling Fresh Start.

The company did a nice job of cleaning the exterior of the house in October, 2018. Everything else…read moreabout the service was very disappointing. For example, we were very concerned about any impact on landscaping but were emphatically assured that there would be no affect. However, within one week one tree-shrub was denuded of its foliage (it came back this spring, luckily) and another died. When I mentioned this to Eric in a reply to the company's follow-up email (in which I was offered a gift cert. for a positive review on Google Plus), the response was that it was a wet summer and that was the cause. In addition, half of the deck adjacent to the house was bleached and now is a distinct shade from the rest of the deck, even after power-washing and sealing this spring. When I mentioned this to Eric he shrugged it off. Also, while doing the washing the company got cleaning solution all over my screened in porch. When I mentioned this, that the reply was that I should have covered everything (I would have if they had warned me). Finally, when the job was done clearly Eric wanted to get paid and leave, without a walk around. I made him do it anyway and he was very defensive in answering my questions. Bottom line: good house cleaning, some bad impacts to my property and poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.
