I took some time to wander the grounds with no specific site in mind. At one point, I tried to find one or two specific gravesites but the markings here made that a bit challenging as i could not easily determine which section I was in. I'm sure if you know where you're going, you'd have no trouble. Most of the cemetery is driveable with wider lanes suitable for parking. I suggest you find a shady spot and then get out to walk. My father died on May 28th, 2024. He was not buried until July 14th,2024 (44 Days)...It was blamed on the Health dept. "Computer Hack" and a death certificate was not able to be issued quickly. Maybe?? But, since then....August 9th,2024...The Life Insurance Co has still not received all of the paperwork necessary to Finalize the File and Pay-out to Myrtle Hill & the Family Members. So Myrtle Hill or the family has not been paid as of Aug 9th,2024 (72 Days from when my father's body arrived there!) We have called 2-3 times a week and always promised that someone will call back..(Never Happens) As of today Aug 9th,2024, the Life Insurance Co can not Finalize the Pay-out because of the Care-Free attitude of Myrtle Hill. They have not seen the process thru until. Jackson Insurance is the Insurance Co. blames the Myrtle Hill.. Myrtle Hill Blames the Health Dept and Jackson Life Insurance... NO ONE GETS THE BUSINESS PART OF A FUNERAL FINALIZED. Myrtle Hill was very quick about getting us to sign the Claim Form but from there, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. No Follow Up. It's a real shame to lose the Matriarch of your Family and not receive the care and attention that a family should receive and they have a "Don't Really Care" attitude. From the Death on May 28th,2024 until burial on July 14th (44 Days) and from July 14th until today...Aug 9th,2024 (another 28 days) and the Paperwork has not been Finalized....That a Total of 72 Days from when my father arrived there and this file is still not closed out.
