Black or brown folks will be ignored during classes. Sad, because the owners themselves are POC but they have very close ties to maga folks. They also promote people very easily. As long as you're paying, the 'master' doesn't care. Everyone gets a belt promotion. ***UPDATE*** Yelp seems to be hiding my review about this place. Let me add more info since it's so weird for my review to just disappear like that. I had a niece and nephew attend this place for a few years. At first things were great, then the owners got greedy and changed the timeframe of the classes as well as the quantity of classes you could take. They lost a lot of students because of this but those that were loyal stayed. My brother and sister in law contemplated on leaving since the classes were shorter and were only twice a week now instead of three times a week with an additional half hour. Oh, not to mention, THE PRICE STAYED THE SAME WITH THIS CHANGE. So not only were you paying MORE but got LESS. My nephew was on the spectrum and my niece was not. The difference in how they were treated was not what I was expecting. I came to a great amount of their lessons to watch but after seeing how the school was ran, couldn't bring myself to support this place. Obviously the decision to keep them there was not up to me but I couldn't stand it. Seeing the little black and brown kids get very obvious low standard treatment compared tho their Caucasian and Asian counterparts were incredibly sad. They are not at all prepared or even educated enough to handle children on the spectrum. The 'master' has lost his patience many times and tries to play it off but it's very obvious to those sitting and watching. Again, I would urge all black and brown parents to take their kids elsewhere.

My son started…read morein the Little Dragon's program a few months ago and while we knew he was going to be interested in taekwondo, we had no idea how obsessed he'd become instantly! As a child on the spectrum, we have seen huge improvements in his joint attention, discipline, turn taking, and learning routines. There are kids in his class who have been attending longer and are great role models during class. I love that Master Garmany sets clear rules for how to behave in class. He has had my son sit out when he's misbehaving and it's been really good for him to have a direct consequence. He really doesn't want to have to sit out and understands that there is a certain way he needs to behave to participate. Stamps during class for good behavior and stickers at the end are the biggest deal to my son, it's really adorable. Master Garmany really has thought about everything when putting this business together. I love that the Little Dragon's class is so child friendly. Watching little films before class starts, listening to CoComelon during musical chairs, imaginative play during warm up and stretch time. It's really sweet. Now, here's where it gets even more exciting. There is a room full of toys and imaginative play that the little ones can go in, or their siblings. Great amount of seating area to watch your kids. There's an epic arcade for kids and parents to come nerd out in. And there is an awesome workout area for parents to use anytime. All of this is included in your child's membership! I also love that Master Garmany coordinates lots of events that the kids can attend, participate, or help out in. Star Wars movie nights, rock concerts, taco trucks, um yes please! Thank you Master Garmany for how much thought you've put into creating such a welcoming beautiful place.

With the natural rotation of students--and occasionally instructors--it can be challenging to maintain consistency. But this school stays true to the Korean Kukkiwon standards, ensuring a unified approach to technique and instruction. What really sets this school apart is the sense of community. Students here aren't treated like customers; they're part of something bigger. It's inspiring to see younger black belts stepping up to mentor and support others, often volunteering their time to help the next generation grow. Though I'm new to this school, I already feel like part of the family--and I'm proud to call Robinson's Taekwondo my dojang.

The main teacher Danny left the school and it quickly fallen to shambles. My wife and I were hoping Connie was going to bring in another good instructor although it impossible to replace Danny so good we at least expect a competent replacement but no we got 4 teenager black belts and one adult instructor with supposedly over 20 years experience that isn't really teaching certified? And then said only there to help recruit more business? All event changes have been short notice via email surprises in person with no notice at all and conflicting stories amongst parents asking questions getting different answers. Double charge. Some parents pay fee some no fee for leaving. July Danny left we waited patiently to the next belt testing and ceremony in august and it was no good lots of kids makes mistakes but still got belts. Master Robinson at belt testing we don't know why he don't say nothing. Don't understand why she is making bad business choices, this was not the school we signed up for. Crazy how it changed in one month less than one month from one person leaving! A good business don't fail because one guy left even if he a pillar leader his absence don't cause a demise. New leader means transition period adjust to new personalities but business be as usual. This not good business. Connie has been attitude towards other parents with questions or wanting to leave and break contract she gives different answers different money to pay! She not happy with kids my kids say she don't like them she mean and don't know the forms she teach them wrong! It's a mess! We told Danny coming back to help with sparring but he no come back and next we told new instructor Long is going to help but still nothing. Mr. Long a lot of problems I feel shouldn't be around children smelling like cigarettes and dropping vapes in class around little kids and hes the adult! Shame! Master Robinson and Connie bring him in that condition! The teenagers leading are not bad but they kids teaching kids. No structure or order left not even fun or joy. Kids don't want to come and half school gone already. The young man that stepped up help out in classes is really good and a ton of potential but he is a minor and we can't wait for this kid to grow up to be the next Mr. Danny. Not fair to poor guy either he still growing up. The female teachers are trying nice young ladies but they teenage girls that don't know what they doing and let the younger guy lead while Connie in the office. I'm mad because with great leader over the teenagers could be a strong leading team force to be reckon with! No they going to be traumatized working with kids in taekwondo under bad business lady using them for cheap and free child labor! Shame! We feel we should have had new hire in place by now in our opinion and it's only get worse here so we tapping out. I think the teenagers will make great teachers some day but not soon with Connie so we going to jump ship before everyone drowning. So sad how fast it gone bad. Good luck to everyone finding new dojang.
