The highlights, for me, are the great variety of greens, fruits and vegetables (including organic ones!) and the fact that they sell Santïs meats, so I don't have to do two shopping trips. They sell also a good variety of rice (if you're not used to the filipino one, then they have Basmati, Jasmine, Brown Rice and much more) and beans. Thanks to the beans from Landmark, I can keep the Brazilian "rice and beans" tradition at home. And believe me, that means a lot to me :) I also love Landmark's food court. There's a green juice in some stall there that's is just perfect. I also like Bread Talk and Kumori, the Japanese bakery. I mean, there's a lot to explore there before you start pushing your shop cart! TIP: Landmark is cheaper than Rustan's and has much more variety than the SM Supermarket. Choose it for the big once-a-month grocery.

They have a deli section, a cooked food section (for when you want to take out your food for lunch) and they even have whole cakes for sale (for that last minute office birthday celebration). Staying true to its name, Robinsons Selections can't be counted on for variety of brands, but they do have a pretty decent selection (hehe) available in the store. I just wish they spaced their aisles a little farther apart, since it can only fit the width of one and a half carts, therefore making it difficult sometimes to move around.

Their bright red logo's are beaming bright at 8 forbestown road. It's very convenient to have a Robinsons supermarket. A few good things about this outlet is the super friendly staff, the deli with cheap mongolian rice and the pharmacy on the ground floor (this is where I always check out because there is never any line btw). I really can't stand the smell in this supermarket though, I can't pin point it down but I think it has something to do with the smoke that comes from the deli section. They often run out of items and don't have it for days (e.g. almond milk, sugar beets, coriander, mint, etc.)

Great selection of groceries in BGC!…read more Honestly I've shopped in almost every grocery store here they all have something different to offer SM supermarket provides a wide array of imported goods from Nutella, fruit loops, Swiss chocolate, and other delights. I would call this the poor mans wal mart. Not as big and not as much to offer but good enough for the Philippines. What I like is their imported sauces for the pasta and the chocolate fix prices are reasonable to an extent but when you're craving Nutella and cookie butter this is the closest place to get it. Lines can get pretty long on weekends and week nights so I suggest going on off peak business hours. They also have a western union here

The hard liqors and wines are cheaper than in rustan's or robinsons for the same brands 6. After check out, they will help you carry your bags to the taxi stand for you all the way at the other side of the mall. If you have other items to pick up, they don't mind waiting. Good service. Some things I don't like: 1. The fruits & vegetables are not organized logically 2. They lack a number of frozen items such as frozen strawberries

One of my only complaints is that the store is so big that my weak ankles get pained after awhile. It helps that I live close by, but I have unintentionally grown dependent on this branch. I like to cook in bulk so the wholesale sized SKUs in the back of the store are always worth checking out. When I'm there during the grocery rush hours, I tend to pass by the Wine and Spirits section. I pick up a bottle of alcohol and they let me check out at the bakery. Shh! Don't tell everyone; but also don't abuse the privilege.

Fine, eating and drinking are there too. However, I completely zone out when I do the groceries. It's just me, the cart and my grocery list. I can forget all the problems of the day and focus on...which Mayo brand and size will save me more money? Of all the supermarkets, SM Hypermarket is my ultimate favorite place to shop. It's the nearest to my parent's home and there are so many other useful shops inside like a BDO bank, Watson's, Office Warehousem Clinica Manila and, of course, restaurants. Plus, they close at 11PM! I can spend an hour or two cruising from one aisle to another after work. Super convenient! As the motto of SM goes, "We've got it all for you!" and, yes they have everything you need. Inside the grocery, they also have appliances, electronics, clothes, furniture, kitchenware, and even pet supplies. Another feature I love in SM Hypermarket is their bulk buy section (this is where I go when I need to buy for get-togethers and parties). The building is smaller than the other SM Hypermarkets I've gone to but, this one has everything you need in a compact package! Also, I love that they have a big screen in the food court area. So, after you shop, you can sit, eat and watch the latest PBA game! :D

The sushi here is pretty fresh and decent - although the rice is a little sticky. They also have a lot of good imported cheese and a french bakery for some really good breads. The groceries here are a little on the expensive side, so you do pay for the shopping experience here. What I like is that there are a lot of foreign products so it's a good one-stop shop. No more visits to Santis. They also have lots of organic and healthier options. And premium brands like Waitrose too. The staff is always pretty friendly and they always help you to weigh your veggies before you have the chance to ask!

They have the usual things you find in a Rustan's supermarket. They had their cheese, cold cuts, sushi bar, sandwiches, salads and pastas. But what made it different was that it's been years and they finally decided to put a good supermarket in BGC. It's about time! And I can finally say that High Street finally has everything. It's a small supermarket but it's packed with great goods and they have a special aisle for Korean food. Really interesting and I left the grocery with a lot of Korean noodles.

But that's neither here nor there. The name works as far as the owners are concerned. Incidentally, there are also a number of 7-Elevens and Mini Stops in the general area, but no problemo for the owners of Big C. The place just keeps rolling along with the times. There's no secret to the success of Big C. It may not look like much from the outside, but inside it is surprisingly air-conditioned. Best of all, their prices are still the lowest in the area. Because of this, a lot of restaurants in this part of town still get their supplies from this old supermart. It has everything that the big supermarkets have, there's sufficient parking, and once you've become a suki (regular customer), the cashiers will be friendly to you. For those who get hungry while shopping, there's a siomai stall at the entrance. There's also a small restaurant that's part of Big C, but I've never gotten around to trying it out yet.

She would drag me here a day or two before our family reunions to buy cheese, meats and cold cuts. They do have plenty of options for cheese and cold cuts. A bit pricey, but the quality is really good. My mom and I frequent this supermarket because the lines for the cashier aren't that long, there are less people roaming around and shopping, and the place is pretty quiet. We like doing our grocery shopping in peace. If you get hungry in the middle of shopping, don't worry. You can sit down, take a break and eat. They've got cooked meals, a sushi bar, salads and sandwiches. Today, I found out that if you park your car at the 6750 Steel Carpark and shop at Rustan's Supermarket, you can have your car park ticket validated and you get free parking. Also, they put all your groceries in boxes. You can ask the baggage boys to help you bring the boxes to your car. They are so helpful.
