Initially they seemed on the up and up but don't believe anything they say unless it's in writing, then you are taking a chance. The younger mechanic verbally quoted an approximate price for a simple front brake pad replacement so with that an appointment was made. When I dropped off the car the older man, I assume the owner, wrote up a work order and told me they would contact me with the cost. Well that call never happened and since the car was promised that day and I hadn't heard from them in the afternoon I called to check on the progress. Low and behold the car was finished and I could come and pick it up. I don't expect to get anything for free but between the initial verbal quote and lack of call back the cost increased by three hundred dollars. Reviewing the work order convinced me never to return. There was a charge for flushing the brake fluid when in fact they didn't. If you want quality, upstanding service, like I got after taking my car there to repair what Bavarian was supposed to do (break noise), go to Bob Moore.

We took the Rogue here and mentioned we'd done a little research (which was met with sarcasm) and thought the stop break switch might be the issue. We were instead told that the transmission fluid "was all burned up" and that the entire transmission would need to be replaced. Took it to the Nissan dealership the same day and guess what? Dealership confirmed it is the stop brake switch as suspected, are replacing it and flushing the transmission. Glad we didn't go with G&G, who knew the dealership would quote us literally thousands less on repairs.
