It's efficient -- I was in and out in less than an hour. And every person I interacted with was competent, helpful, and very friendly. I almost forgot I was at a DMV office. Bonus for being near some really cool stores and a Sonic Drive-In. I live downtown and it's a bit of a trek to get here, but it blows the downtown office out of the water. I went in and the place was not crowded which was good for me. I went up to the first desk and got a number then waited about 5-10 minutes to be called up to next desk. The person seemed nice and he was helpful. That desk took maybe 5-10 minutes max. Then I went over to the picture station and got picture taken then it took about 5 minutes for new license to come out to me. overall I was pleased with the service and the total amount of time it took. I do recommend this location as everyone seemed very good. I would hesitate to stay if it was really crowded. I will definitely go here again if I need anything from DMV again.

There are a lot of independent restaurants and businesses in Bridgeville (along with some Big Box Chain Retailers within walking distance, Bridgeville is a very walkable community. Bridgeville has a lot of friendly residents (and some not so friendly). The police department is very professional, yet, maintains a sense of humor on social media. It is a nice place to visit, and a great place to live (affordable housing). There are three parks in Bridgeville (and one borders Wingfield Pines / Boyce Mayview Park along Chartiers Creek). So welcoming, engaging, and filled with excellent reading options for all ages. The playroom and classroom space have reopened and many classes take place in the evenings for kids. The seek and find activity is a highlight for my kids. It changes daily and gives families a good reason to go back frequently to pick out new books.

Currently, it is open from Tuesday through Saturday morning to afternoon. To avoid the longest lines, I recommend showing up in the middle of the week and in the early morning. For my most recent visit, I arrived well before the opening time, and a long line of customers had already formed on the sidewalk. At the opening time, a guard periodically called different groups of people into the building. I felt surprised that people had to wait outside for so long and that little seating was available inside. At least the sidewalk had a roof over it. Eventually an employee called me, looked at my application for a Real ID, gave me a number, and had me wait inside. Many minutes later another employee called me to review my birth certificate, Social Security card, and two pieces of evidence of Pennsylvania residency. Then another employee took my payment. Days later I received my Real ID in the mail.

The library is in an old home, so it's a bit cramped for space, but they have a good selection, and since they're part of the Allegheny Library System, you can pretty much get anything you want ordered for you. During the summers, they close early on Wednesdays and have a free concert on the porch. I don't know if there's a separate place to review the park, but it's a great space. They just got a grant and renovated the playground, so it's very nice. They also have a skate park which doesn't affect me directly, but I'm pretty sure it's a great space for kids to hang out. What's also great is they started a farmer's market this year. There are all sorts of goodies to get. I'm so glad I live within walking distance.
