From the get-go, he was incredibly responsive, personable, and professional. After experiencing accidental water damage in my home, I was overwhelmed with the entire process. We had just gone through water mitigation and needed to find contractors for the reconstruction, which included repairing a significant portion of our garage ceiling and kitchen ceiling, replacing laundry room flooring and baseboards, and repainting the affected areas. Camilo's quote was a fraction of what other contractors were charging, and what really stood out was his honesty and willingness to work with us. He never tried to upsell me or take advantage of my situation, unlike some of the other contractors I encountered. He patiently answered my many questions, made me feel comfortable throughout the process, and was able to fit us into his schedule within just a few days. You can tell that this is more than just a business to Camilo. He leads with heart, integrity, and a strong work ethic. He originally estimated that the project would take four days, but he and his team completed everything in just TWO days! The workmanship was immaculate, and I couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. Finding a trustworthy contractor can be stressful, especially when you're already dealing with unexpected home damage, so I'm incredibly grateful to have found Camilo and his team. I would 100% reach out to him again if I ever need his services in the future (hopefully not anytime soon!). Thank you again, Camilo and team, for making such a stressful situation so much easier. You've absolutely earned this five-star review! Highly recommend!

What really stood out was his flexibility. At the last minute, I needed three walls painted before having shades installed, and he went out of his way to accommodate me without hesitation. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Steve and Jesse's professionalism and honesty really stood out they never asked for a dime until the job was completely finished, and we walked through everything together to make sure we were completely satisfied. That kind of trust and pride in workmanship is rare these days. The quality of their painting is unmatched. They painted our newly installed shaker doors and trim with such perfection that they look like they came straight from the cabinet shop -- perfectly matching the cabinet finish. It's clear they understand paint, its quality, and its purpose. A true tradesman through and through. On top of their skill, the care they showed for our home was amazing. Every single day they cleaned up and organized their tools in one location so our home stayed as livable as possible. Even outside, after pressure washing, sanding, and scraping, they went the extra mile by vacuuming up every last paint chip so nothing was left in the planters or around the house. Another concern of mine prior to the painting was I have permanent lighting under the eves of the entire front of our house first and second story. They meticulously masked every single light prior to painting, making sure it all blended in seamlessly, keeping me from having to remove all the lighting and then re-install once they were done !!! The attention to detail went far beyond just the painting. They truly make the statement "You get what you pay for" so obvious from day one!! Our house feels brand new inside and out, and we've had so many compliments from friends and neighbors. We couldn't be happier and would recommend McKenzie Painting (it is a father Steve and son Jesse )to anyone looking for someone who not only does top-quality work but also truly cares about the customer and their home.
