Robison Law Firm went above and beyond for me and my case. I originally started my case with another law firm out of McLean, VA, but ended up firing them due to neglect and their unwillingness to take the time to work with my disability. After that, I reached out to Robison Law Firm and spoke with Mr. Robison, who was patient, kind, and understanding from the very beginning. This firm made accommodations for my disability, took the time to answer all of my questions, and made sure I understood everything throughout the process. From my intake with Mr. Robison, to Mr. Griffen and Mr. Kolessides working on my case, and even Damon's help from the start, everyone treated me with respect and care. Mr. Kolessides came to Winchester, VA, for my court hearings and was absolutely incredible. He was caring, professional, and fought hard for me. He worked with the Commonwealth's Attorney and was able to get my charge reduced from a felony to a Class 1 misdemeanor. He never gave up, answered every question I had, and made sure I felt confident. At my first hearing, I accidentally went to the wrong courtroom, and Mr. Kolessides quickly helped me get to the right one. I felt embarrassed, but he made me laugh and reassured me that it happens all the time. Thanks to his hard work, my felony 5 charge was reduced to a Class 1 misdemeanor, with only 30 days that he was able to get approved for weekends. If you have a disability and need an attorney who will make accommodations, take extra time with you, and truly care about your case, Robison Law Firm is the firm to call. I would recommend them to anyone who has made a mistake in life and needs a strong, compassionate legal team. They went above and beyond for me, and I am beyond blessed with the outcome. Thank you to everyone at Robison Law Firm who worked on my case and supported me from start to finish. read more

These lawyers are only after your money, they took my wife's money for claim of shop lifting and even though the store said they have lost the tape the lawyer advised her to plead guilty and then they charged her an extra $525 to clean her records and now 10 years later we found out they didn't read more

There's no way B.G. can have all these great ratings without paying people to post it. Most, if not all, of his credentials are pay-for-play services like Avvo, and google reviews are well known for it. He handled my case. He treated me like a criminal already before even hearing the case, there was no witness list, no confiscated items list, nothing provided to me for review. No face to face meetings, not even once. Even on a judgement day, we set appointment for a face to face meeting but i had to call him at late night because i didnt hear anything from him, otherwise he would not have called. He only wanted me to take the plea deal and get it over with. He just wanted to "wing it". He is a plea deal lawyer, nothing more nothing less. read more

They went above and beyond what i could have expected. Truly grateful for having had them on my team

They are just the best. Their lawyers are professionals who pay attention to details and give listening ears to your case. After checking out and talking to a bunch of lawyers, I finally ended up with them because I felt relieved after a brief interview and at the end I had a positive turn out for my case. They are very effective and efficient and I will recommend them to anyone without thinking otherwise. I'm very happy I have a clean record thanks to Robinson law firm. read more

I'm not too sure we're to start! I got in some trouble in Fairfax, I live in a different state so I was in panic mode. I did some research and talked to some lawyers in Fairfax, did not like anything they were telling me. I finally found Bret Lee. Glad I did! He was very helpful and got me out of some serious stuff! Now I can be in peace and put this all behind me! I'm very satisfied with the outcome of my case! Thanks Lee! read more

My experience with Robinson Law crew is nothing less than perfect. I first had a phone call with Susana, she was very professional and informative. Then my case was handled by Andrew, who was very professional and neat. Based on his advice my case was dismissed. Susana & Andrew were exceptionally professional and I'll definitely recommend them for others. Thanks, Robinson Law! read more

After doing some research for a lawyer that met my needs, I contacted Mr. Robinson to discuss my case. Without a shadow of a doubt, I'm very happy with the results. Mr. Robinson always answered my questions thoroughly, listened to my ideas when I had them, and carefully explained the nuances of what we would need to do in order to win. After collecting all the necessary information for my case, which involved going to multiple outside parties, we went over the information in great detail. Not once did I think he was rushing me along, and he always was very attentive to my questions and how to proceed to the next topic. Ultimately he came up with a strategy that we both felt comfortable with, and it very much worked to our favor. I'm very happy, not only with the end result, but the way in which Mr. Robinson and I got there in the end. read more

I got pulled over for doing 24 MPH over the speed limit on I-95 and was charged with reckless driving. I was worried that I might have my license revoked given how strict the laws are in Virginia, but Mr. Griffitts assured me that it would most likely get reduced and I wouldn't have to worry about that. Fortunately, the case ended up getting dismissed altogether so I didn't even have to pay court fees. The other client who Mr. Griffitts represented that day also had her charges dismissed as well. I didn't see anyone else's charges get dismissed that day so, although it may have been atypical, he certainly did a great job by me and his other client. I highly recommend hiring Mr. Griffitts. read more

Mr Bret Lee:: I am a nurse, first and foremost this was on my mind when selecting a lawyer. I did not want to loose my licensure I had worked so hard for. My lawyer held my hand through the whole proscess. His knows the law- he has a hunger for it and he is absolutely relentless in a courtroom. He truly and honestly went above and beyond with me. He let me know about the judge/ prosecutors temperament-formulated a plan with me based on everything in front of him. He got the case dismissed!! This is truly beyond what I hoped for. He is absolutely amazing and you Can. Not. Go. Wrong with this man! read more

Michael assisted in my case and spent hours ensuring that he was prepared for trial. Felt confident with him. Great result. Recommended.

If you are in the unfortunate situation of possibly losing your career due to a DUI, I highly recommend hiring Michael Robinson. His professionalism and knowledge are second to none! He saved my career and even expunged my record. Thanks Michael. read more

Buyer beware. I had called to speak with Michael Robinson because I had read his profile and I thought he was a potentially good fit for us. A family member was facing multiple felonies so we wanted someone reputable and good at these cases. Unfortunately, Michael was out of the country, so they assigned Bret Lee to us and assured me that he was one of their best. The final disposition of the case was a disaster, and that is putting it mildly. While I very much understand and acknowledge that an attorney cannot guarantee a satisfactory outcome in any case, it was also written in our contract that "Counsel shall use the best efforts to obtain a satisfactory result for Client and keep Client reasonably informed from time to time as to the status and progress of the matters entrusted to Counsel hereby." This did not happen for us. We did not get phone calls. We were not always informed, or we had to ask for information before we would get it (usually at the 11th hour). There were times when we would go for 4 weeks, once more than 6 weeks without hearing from Bret. Then we'd be forced to show up for a critical hearing - anxious and stressed out - not knowing what was about to transpire and not knowing anything about the plea agreement forms. This just doesn't sit well. It just basic civility, obligation to your client, etc. That was $7,000 wasted. Seemed like the case shut down after they got their final payment. If you are facing some serious charges, as my family member was, I strongly suggest that you consider the amount of involvement you want your attorney to have. This is important! I can't stress that enough. The most upsetting things for me with this case was not knowing and wasting time. Mr. Lee would usually not answer calls or emails. I sent information for him to look at, questions I had, things like that. Out of all the things that we were promised in the beginning, nothing panned out in the end. There was no strategy. It was our family member up there alone, trying to figure out what to say without having the benefit of rehearsals and preparation. It was heartbreaking. I just can't abide by a company who does not respond to phone calls, emails, and requests for key pieces of information or provide the basic preparation for your client so he/she is ready and confident to stands and speak before that judge on what can be the biggest game changer in their life. Don't take that lightly. There were several good opportunities that we could have pursued that I felt confident would boost our case. In the end, nothing got used. I guess it was too much work or too much money to spend and I guess we as clients didn't seem worth it, is all I can think. For Robinson Law, if you want to improve, have the attorneys start calling people back. Buy a printer so you can provide people with copies of court documents. Give email addresses and telephone #s to the staff who work there so they can be reached. Just a few basics would go a long way. read more

2ND DUI WITHIN 5 YRS WITH BAC .16 !!! Would seem like i would be doing major time or at least 20-40 days. NOPE, Michael got the charged reduced to a 1st DUI, only 5 days in jail along with normal 1st DUI costs/classes. Very good lawyer, would recommend to anyone looking for a quality DUI lawyer who will go the extra mile for each of his clients read more

My experience with Mr. Robinson was top notch from the initial consultation all the way until the final disposition was rendered. Mr. Robinson handled my case with extreme professionalism, human courtesy and compassion and with great fervor and drive. He never fed me false hopes of green grass and daisy's, he always gave it to me straight. This was my 3rd time getting arrested for DUI in Virginia, however I was charged with a 2nd offense. Nevertheless all the court knew and cared about was 3rd arrest for the same offense. Reading the website blogs and the DUI laws in Virginia (especially Fairfax) immediately would put someone in a state of panic, fear, anxiety and deep worry. Mr. Robinson did his best to console those negative emotions. I was arrested in June 2016, hired Robinson Law in June 2016, paid Robinson Law in August 2016 and did not receive my final disposition until January 2017. We went through 2 continuations, both of which Mr. Robinson assessed the situation at the courthouse and vehemently suggested that we move to the next date, still holding on to the glimmer of hope that a deal could be struck. I am a good guy, active in the church, coaches youth sports, leader in the community....but I have been battling an internal disease that caused me to make the same mistake 3 times. None of that mattered as the District Attorney did not want to hear any part of "Deal." With that said, we roll into the new year and the 1st item on the agenda is COURT DATE. Mr. Robinson prepared me as best as possible for every scenario, he even met with the DA and officer 3 times trying to find the best possible outcome for his client but to no avail. Whether or not Mr. Robinson was nervous about the trial, he never showed it which put me at ease. Minutes before the trial begins, Mr. Robinson tells me exactly which approach he is going to take to defend me. There was something about the case before mine that gave him an idea and he ran with it. He attacked the evidence brought before the court like a lion and showed great legal posture as he argued my case with the arresting officer. He was able to get the breathylizer thrown out as evidence and challenged the dashcam video with great ferocity. Final Verdict: NOT GUILTY I walked in with no chance or glimmer of hope in the eyes of the court...but this man of great faith took on the giants and defeated them. I would highly recommend Mr. Robinson. He had every opportunity to let me accept what was being offered to me, but he DIDN'T. We went to war with the court 3X. Because he fought...I fought...!! read more

My ultimate goal was to reduce my reckless driving to speeding ticket to avoid the misdemeanor charge. Mr.Robinson also mentioned about seriousness of misdemeanor. With no previous record, I still did 8 hours of DIC, 4 hours of aggressive driving class, and 15 hours of community beside other things such as calibration test, to make sure I am on the safe side. With an extremely busy life, I pushed my schedule a lot to do all these because of the court date obviously. I called his office THREE days before my court date to give his secretary my last document, which was community service. She told me he submitted a motion to continue (postpone) my court date because he will be out of town, and no rush for me to stop by. I was totally shocked, what?? First of all , nobody communicated this with me, and second of all, why did he accept my case if he knew he will be out of town? I called him, and he said he needs to spend time with his family, and will take of my case another date after continuing it. With my emphasis of importance of this case for me to be done on the court date, he explicitly said that it is not a big deal and it is just a glory speeding ticket, and the bottom line is that he would not be able to attend on the court day so he will continue it if I still want him to take care of my case. He even refused to meet in person. I told him I really squeezed my schedule for the whole month to prepare everything because of the court date, and at least he should have communicated with me about his unavailability and also decision so I would plan accordingly. Based on the contract I paid him in advance to book him for my court date and time, and he should asked me if he wanted to postpone it. I can tell he did not care at all about anything.I took back all my documents from his office to get another lawyer . At this point since he realized I am serious he called me at night to ask if I could see him at his office tomorrow ( first time he called me actually)! Wow, I don't not what happened to his busy schedule suddenly. Next day, as I just had TWO days left to my court date, while I was under stress looking for another lawyer, he called and said he can send his friend to represent my case on the court date as he still can not attend my court date. My new lawyer searched in the system and found he cancelled the motion to postpone the case and my court date is still on as scheduled. It implies that not only what he did was not ethical , but it seems without the client permission and willingness, he could not postpone the court and to avoid being in trouble he cancelled it. My new lawyer which charged me less , took care of my case for the result I wanted. It sounds some attorneys after getting enough reputation and good number of clients, would really show their true face and level of ethical and professionalism. Hiring this attorney just caused me more stress and pressure rather than any help. read more
