The actual salon is lovely with alot of gold accessories including some amazing gold chairs which is what drew me into the salon in the first place when it opened. They seem to have thought about lots of little details which make a visit to the hairdressers special, I even got Oreo's and praline seashells with my cup of tea not the usual tasteless biscuit in a plastic wrapper that I've had in other salons. So overall good hair, lovely decor, fab service. I reckon it's one of Leicester's hidden gems so go and try it out before they get too busy.

Robin proves why he has been in the biz for so long, he is great at what he does. Showed him a photo of what style I was looking for and off he went, double checking during the cutting process as to length I wanted for fringe, over ears, crown etc. my hair grows upwards at the base of my head and mentioned it to him and he knew exactly how to cut it and style it so that it will grow back without ruining the look at the back of my head. Basically if you want to pay a good price without compromising look and quality of cut then look no further.

But the barber made sure that he knew exactly want I wanted and did the perfect shaping. He also used several lotions and potions during the trim to make it more pleasant. Only when I paid and left I realised I had been in there for a good 45 minutes. Not sure if that was the standard time or if he just went over as there was no one else booked in after. I was told that my cut and colour would take no more than 2 and a half hours. It took over 3 hours and I missed my train to London. They obviously hadn't had health and safety training. The salon itself, though decorated well in a modern, trendy style, was just as messy and there was little room to walk around. However, the service was great. My hairdresser was really lovely and attentive to what I wanted to have done and was also helpful with giving advice and tips. The prices are fantastic for a salon in the city centre and service is excellent!

In that time they have been consistently the best hairdressers in the city. I have lived in Manchester during that time but still used to come back for a contemporary cut as the salons there are just too posy! If it's a shampoo and set you want then stay away, if you want something contemporay and stylish, don't go anywhere else.
