When I originally called, the person I talked to couldn't even find the quote and after explaining that an agent had actually emailed me she managed to contact the agent who tried to get in touch. The agent was busy and called back a few hours later and spoke to my husband. I was extremely surprised to find out that nationwide doesn't cover homeowners insurance in craven county especially since they actually gave me a price for the policy online. If you're shopping for insurance don't bother with them. You will be wasting your time.

Carl is wicked smart and he just plain nerds out on insurance (sorry, Carl - I know of no better way to stress your knowledge of this industry!). He thoroughly reviewed our policies prior to our meeting and came prepared with recommendations on coverage and strategy. I have a low tolerance for insurance sales pitches and was impressed that Carl genuinely put himself in our shoes and did not simply look for opportunities to get higher premiums from us (in fact, many of his recommendations actually lowered our overall insurance costs).
