The problem with this is that he doesn't take notes and you end up having to retell your health situation over again to Dr. Scribner. I typically have a good relationship with my health care providers; so I was surprised that I could not relate to Dr. Scribner. He was unavailable on every level. I found Dr. Scribner to be cold, disinterested and unhelpful. I talked to others - this is a very small town - who shared with me that they had like experiences and recommended other providers who were actually warm and relateable. I would not recommend Dr. Scribner; his attitude and lack of bedside manner leaves one feeling like they don't actually have a doctor. And, if you owe anything on your account, you will be hounded relentlessly by daily phone calls, voicemails and emails. I guess his patient load isn't so big that his staff has plenty of time to pester patients over small amounts. One star is one star too many.

Since I had been to this office twice before in the last five years, I was not surprised by the doctor's youthful appearance as he entered the exam room. I was again impressed by his caring and compassion. He asked relevant questions and listened intently to my answers. After his examination of the sore he informed me that I needed to have a simple surgical procedure to remove it and also told me that some people would rather have something like this taken care of by a dermatologist. He asked what I would prefer. I asked when he could do it and he said that he could take care of it in the next few minutes. I was impressed that I wouldn't have to make another appointment and return on a different day. I gave consent for the surgery, the nurse set up everything that was needed, and the procedure was done in a very short time. The wound is now healing nicely and I don't anticipate any problems. Dr. Scribner is a valuable asset to this community.
