BOOM! with a bright red flash of light right outside my bedroom window! I jumped straight up and out of bed when our home was struck during this storm. Doing my recon thing, checking for damages, I soon realized the extent of this fiery bolt. One TV out, some outdoor lighting, a GFCI circuit plus our well pump! Bad enough to not have water in the house, but now there's no water in the barn or for the horses. Geez! I've had bad experiences with a few well companies in Hernando previously, so I was looking for someone new as I did my Google search. Something felt right when I called Boyette. Danny answered the phone and was real pleasant. I explained the situation and also that we are selling this farm and we didn't want to sink a lot of money into any repairs, hopefully. I went on to say that I normally handle the maintenance. I told Danny that I found the cover to the control box blown off and one relay and one thermal overload protector were blown. I was hoping to find a place to purchase those parts and replace them myself. Now, most companies would have stopped me right there and insisted they come out on a service call and do the repairs. That's cool most of the time, but sometimes they need to understand the customer's real capabilities and situation. Danny understood completely! He said he had those parts and if I'd like I could come to his place and buy them. Long story short, I met Danny at his place, bought the parts at a very fair price, went home and installed them and we have running water again! I enjoyed meeting and talking with Danny. I found JB pump&Well and read through their reviews. I called them on a weekend only because it said they were open and left a message. I had a call back within the hour. We set up an appointment for my only day off during the week. They called that morning to verify what time they would be there, and they were right on time. Went through the issues diagnosed the problem and had all of the equipment they needed to do the work that day. Pre-Review in the hopes to spare any potential customers the misery and disappointment in working with this company that obviously doesn't care about their integrity or business any longer (all current reviews seem to confer). Bill convinced us our old well didn't have enough supply (though it has perfect drinking water) to spend 5K for a new well that was drilled to the exact same depth. Except this new well has water that is being reported to the health department for contamination. This company doesn't care about what they give you, just finishing as soon as possible with no customer product review or approval and getting your check. The iron and sulfur in the water has ruined our appliances and made us sick. Bill has lied numerous times about 'fixing our water quality' or even coming back out to finish the job and put a pad under the tank. Our underground pipes are now twisted because they failed to do the basics. We have contacted an attorney and will be suing this company for new well, damaged appliances, ruined pipes and any pain and suffering I can get. We are also contacting news channels.
