The first impression was that there was ample parking, and a friendly host greeted you at the door and seated you at your table. You can choose between a lounge and a dining room. When we sat down for dinner, the vibe was quiet, mostly families, with different seating arrangements, from tables to booths to a raised platform with a couple of tables. The place was quiet, and with the different table arrangements, you are guaranteed an intimate meal with those around the table. Prices are on the higher end for a chain, and the menu has a good mix of appetizers, salads, handhelds, bowls, steak and seafood. The kids' menu was impressive, with salmon as an option, which I appreciated compared to the usual macaroni or chicken-finger options you typically find elsewhere. My spouse and child had salmon, and I had a full rack of ribs; both meals came with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes. Portion sizes were generous, and the food tasted good. My only critique is that kids' meals should always come out first, which didn't happen in our case. Both adults' main meals came out first, and my child's came out shortly after. Again, the meals had great taste, but were on the cold side, and the seasonal carrots that came with the meal were undercooked. However, the carrots were great in size, looked like they were picked from the garden, and I believe they were pan-fried/roasted with a glaze. They have a variety of wines & drinks, and it looks like they also have a dessert menu if you want something sweet at the end of your meal. The staff were polite and kind, and overall it was a good experience, but they could improve a couple of things when serving patrons.
