My niece's wedding location and a thriving mission. Beautiful location for an outdoor ceremony and…read morereception in the gymnasium. Good people doing God's work. The outdoor cross was the location for the ceremony and the gym transformed perfectly for catered food, coffee, DJ. And dancing. So happy the weather was fabulous!

They DID NOT contact our family to inform us that he was being released, they DID NOT ATTEMPT to contact our family in any manner, they DID NOT attempt to make arrangements for him to be transferred into another program, they DID NOT attempt to assist with transportation. They simply released him onto the streets without any means of transportation, money, or contact with anyone. They released my mentally ill brother to fend for himself with absolutely NO help whatsoever. This put him in danger, this was unprofessional on ALL levels & most of all, UN-Christ like. Luckily, a GOOD Samaritan saw my brother walking, picked him up & carried him to a half way house where he contacted my mother & informed her of what happened. She then contacted The Potter's House & they confirmed that he "had done nothing wrong, but that they couldn't help him, so they just turned him away." Wow. Just wow. I wonder how many they have done this to? I wonder how many more they will do this to? Can you imagine just turning someone out without at least contacting their family first or helping them make arrangements? A mentally ill person? ESPECIALLY when your ENTIRE purpose is to HELP others?
