There is no better Doctor than Dr Edward Brooks!…read more I highly recommend Dr. Edward Brooks as a primary care physician. Dr. Brooks is a Doctor of Internal Medicine who goes above and beyond for his patients. He takes the time to get to know each individual, showing genuine care for their health and well-being. His approach is both thorough and compassionate, making him an excellent choice for anyone seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable primary doctor. I have been a patient for the last 10+ years. My daughter and grandson are also under his care . There is no one better!!!!!

I have gone to Dr Young for years. My most recent colonoscopy will be my last. I woke up during the…read moreprocedure. I could see the probe going through my colon and watched it for awhile. I could hear his comments. Then he passed. a spot that looked like a sesame seed (I'm not kidding) and I had a salad with sesame seeds on it about 4 days prior. I guess the prep didn't get everything. So I commended on eating the salad. Dr Young went berserk. He screamed at me, "You should be sedated!!!" He screamed at the nurse. Within minutes I was heavely sedated and it took me more than the regular time to wake up. I did not think waking up during the procedure was my fault. I was in no pain. No need to lose it! I was awake of at least 8 minutes and it was fun to watch. What's up with his temper? Screaming at me? Nope.

Extremely disappointed with the unprofessional, rude and unethical quality of service from Dr…read more Harvey Young's office. I had recently scheduled a routine colonoscopy exam for my elderly mother. She had been a regular patient of Dr. Young's for years. We had to reschedule her exam due to a conflict. We notified his office nearly four weeks in advance about the need to reschedule. Their cancellation policy states that patients need to give them at least 7 days notice to reschedule or face a possible cancellation fee. We respectfully followed their cancellation policy. No problem right? When my mother called to confirm her rescheduled appointment, we were shocked at their response. His office said she would have to pay close to $300 in appointment rescheduling fees - even though we had clearly followed their rules. We had cancelled her exam well ahead of time. If she did not agree to paying this fee, his office would drop her as a patient. What type of medical professional does this? Is this how you treat an elderly woman who has been a regular, loyal patient of yours for years? All this for $300? Is this type of behavior even ethical? I am shocked, disappointed and upset at how she have been treated. I am appalled at how his office has refused to honor its own rules when patients have dutifully followed them. No one deserves to be treated so disrespectfully and dishonestly like this. No one!

He is patient , funny and makes you feel at ease . Doctor Tseng is trying to find solutions that have not been offered yet by other doctors . He is thorough and his staff is really nice , too. The office just moved into a brand new building with a modern look , helpful front desk and most testing / facilities under one roof : pft lab , small procedure room and ct scans all right there . The office is clean and bright . I see a negative review that honestly has zero to do with what kind of doctor he is : complaints about scheduling etc do not reflect the skills of doctor Tseng . If you don't see him , you're missing out on really good care .

Yelp removed this review even though it is 100% accurate and for this provider. So I'm reposting it…read morebelow. This doctor had broken the Hippocratic oath. I received a referral to be seen for breathing difficulties in a highly urgent scenario. I had already been to the ER twice and they had run a respiratory panel that included Covid 19 which all came back negative. The PCP and ER doc all said I need to see a pulmonologist urgently. This clinic called and said I could come in today but only if I provided another negative pcr test result today. When I logically I explained that wasn't reasonable given that pcr tests take at least a day or two she did not care. I then gave the phone to my husband because her lack of empathy and care was negatively impacting my vitals and he asked the very rude and illogical lady who clearly does not care about patients at all what her recommendation was for getting a pcr test and the results in a couple of hours, she had none. Rather than helping she made the childish and illogical statement of "well I then I will document that you are refusing this appt" which I clearly was not. So she chose to make a false and illegal documentation. She refused to provide her name, refused to listen to reason and hung up the phone. This is why people say American healthcare is not great. People like this destroy patients rather than help them and they happily collect a paycheck while doing it. The doctors and director of this practice need to fire her if they care even 1% for their patients. Stop protecting bad hires because in the end you are also responsible for them and their mistakes. I even called back to file a complaint and the manager, Giovanna, wouldn't talk to me today. They said she would call and it's been a month, no call. The lady that answered, which very well might have been the same lady as her voice sounded the same, but potentially pretended to be someone else, refuses to answer how I could get a pcr test the same day. Now let's see if they continue to act childish as a response to this negative review, if they respond at all. A defensive responsive will indicate their guilt and unprofessional desire to protect their reputation at all costs, which includes lying and feigning their superiority. The lady that called me should not be working in any aspect of healthcare and should really see a therapist for her narcissistic personality disorder. She is clearly not growing as a person and is not being held responsible for her actions. Shame on her and whoever hired her and/or protects her bad behavior. Patients can get frustrated especially when they are being treated poorly. Healthcare workers acting defensively in the face of that frustration are unprofessional. A good doctor once told me "a patient can get frustrated, but it's the doctors responsibility not to get defensive and frustrated back but to be empathetic and to listen." This clinic lacks the mentality of good healthcare workers.

I moved to California from the Northeast USA in late 2018. I had a previous diagnosis of AFib, but had never had significant symptoms that I detected. I wanted to develop a new health care team here in California. My new primary Care doc referred me to Doctor Scott over a year ago. He diagnosed my condition after extensive testing including a consult on heart electrical physiology to one of his colleagues. He is thorough and thoughtful and knowledgeable. I know I am in expert hands! He has training in Medicine at Harvard and a PhD from MIT, he has multiple patents on heart devices. I know he is the person to manage my health and my heart health care and if I ever need more, he is a skilled surgeon. I have more confidence in him than any other doctor I have ever seen. He analysis's my condition and makes recommendations based on research information that he shares with me. That treatment is more sophisticated than any previous work I have had done by my PCP or heart doctor. I am glad to have him as my doctor and recommend him unconditionally for anyone seeking a cardiologist.

Dr Wong has been my PCP from 1999 to 2021…read more He performs a very thorough health interview during the annual physical exam and enters the responses in a computer, thus you will receive a printed copy of your exam details when you leave the office. He gives good recommendations on how to improve your health, and he's good about only writing you a prescription when it really is needed (meaning... no antibiotics unless an antibiotic is needed). My only complaint is his tardiness to appointments. I got used to it after a few years. Even though I booked the first appointment of the day, I'd often have to wait at least 30 minutes for him to arrive. Eventually I got smart about it and called the office 5 minutes prior to my appointment time to see if he was going to be on time that day. I really like and trust Dr Wong. A lot. I would like to remain his patient for years to come. However I learned this week that his billing department wasn't able to get him qualified to accept Anthem Blue Cross EPO insurance purchased thru Covered CA (processed as "Pathway EPO"... it's printed in tiny print at the bottom of the Anthem BC insurance card). Mind you, the Anthem Blue Cross website says he is already authorized to accept this insurance, but when you show up for your appointment you will be greeted at the front desk and told they don't accept Anthem Blue Cross thru Pathway EPO. Today I was told they probably aren't going to make any additional effort to get the contract issue resolved so it seems I will need to find a new PCP. :(
