The hospital lied on my mom's medical record that the family switched my mom off full code without our signature, authorization, or even consulting with both the family and the patient so they could "cover" themselves and prevent the family from seeking damages. This lead to my mother dying a painful lonely death. This is unlawful. To make things worse, when my family and I requested my mom's autopsy be done directly by the medical examiner, the hospital start the autopsy four days late and did a private one behind our back's without our consent. I brought my case over to this office and originally decided to look into it but did a whole lot less detective work than I did. This firm is the kind of firm that would turn on you in a courtroom. Even though they ended up not doing the usual routine such as requesting medical records and doing any investigative work, they ended up turning their back on us because they didn't want a case that involve a patient that was already handicapped. Even though the physicians responsible violated our patient rights, this office actually sided with the doctors and thought that they were right to take our civil rights away from us. In other words they thought it was just fine for the doctors to lie on my mom's medical record and say the family switched her off full code without our consent and that it was OK for my mom to die without any help. I did all the legwork that they refused to do and ended up reaching out to the medical examiner, the board of medicine, and the attorney generals office. The three of them did a whole lot more work to uncover unlawful practices that led to my mom's death than this lazy office. Please don't come here if you have serious legal issues. You'll end up doing more work than they will and they'll try to take a higher cut than most attorneys. Walk away and stay away from this place.
