I found out by checking the status myself online(the decision was made on February 11th according to the ssa website) and receiving the letter in the mail yesterday. Leslie was not aware until I sent her a message yesterday and they dropped me this morning. So basically, had I hired someone else, who didn't just hand me off to a "case worker"/ assistant and someone who filed the paperwork on time my family wouldn't be suffering needlessly. No Help for this veteran in filing a New VA claim. Rate increase Case dismissed during phone screening with no explanation of why. My conclusion is they are looking for slam dunk cases and low hanging fruit requiring minimal effort to make an easy buck vs. more challenging cases requiring coordinating, advising and building a case for this veteran with much more effort involved. Do not, under any circumstances, hire this law firm. The only time ypu will ever speak to Rin is via phone for the initial consultation where he will tell you he will assist you, take you money & then you will never, & I mean never be able to speak with him personally again. You will then be passed off to incompetent lawyer after lawyer that you will not ever be informed of until the day before your court hearing which will most likely be cancelled again & again. Paid this firm 5K for my sister in law to get a divorce back in July. It is now 9 mos. later & 3 lawyers assigned to her have left the firm, most likely because they realized it is a scam practice, & court dates have been cancelled 7 times now. They have allowed her spouses partner l, after 40 years of marriage to leave her penniless, locked out of her home, without her belongings, including her car, cancelled health insurance. They have done absolutely nothing. You are not allowed any direct access to your lawyer. If you call, you can only speak to the secretary who answers the phones, who will rely the message to your lawyer, who usually does not return your call. You only get a call the day before your hearing which again is usually with a new lawyer who knows nothing about your case because they were just handed it 5 min before the meeting or they have left this horrible scam of a firm. I hired Rob Levine to help with my VA disability rating. Once they got my records, I have never received any correspondence. I was assigned to Christian. I have emailed him several time asking to speak to him about the process and what to expect. The portal access I have doesn't give me any information. I have a fellow vet that went with another representing agency and is always getting updates. If I can move to another VA rep agency, I hope that it will be a better experience. read more

Regarding my Social Security Disability: I've been working with Kendra Aranas for a couple of years now. She's assisted me after my first denial letter was sent to me from the Social Security Administration. She appealed it, I was given a 2nd denial letter almost a year after the appeal. (why it takes SSA a year after each submission/appeal is beyond me) After almost 3 years.....I finally received a letter stating I was approved for a hearing!!!! I had my hearing, it was a teleconference call, and I was given "FULL APPROVAL" for my claim. Kendra always kept me updated on the status of my case. She had an issues with one of my doctors not wanting to fill out the forms so she called me and we discussed what was needed. So I called the doctor and got the paperwork filled out without issues. I recently received my award letter, my back pay and have been put on Medicare. The SSA made my Medicare retro back to March of 2025. Kendra was very friendly, professional, always in contact with me and truly cared about me and the outcome of my case. This happend 3 time to me over 2.5 years with this firm as a client this last time was just today. I place a request for a phone call on Thursday last week for Friday at 11:00 am here we are on Monday and I didnt get a call until almost 3:00 pm. You want to know why it takes years to adjudicate a claim, because Rob Levine and Associates file new claims for every damn thing but erectile dysfunction. I need an attorney that will go after legitimate claims specific to the individual veteran. I have had 4 knee surgeries next is replacement and because of the knee buckling and giving out twice in 18 give or take years I have fallen down stairs resulting in fracture in L3 1st time and L4 last time resulting in extreme numbness in my legs to my feet and constant pain Why wasn't the priority to get my rating from 40% to even maybe 80% just on my legitimate injuries??? Well today I fired Rob Levine and I did find a reputable Local Attorney that will act on only what I ask them to. I dont need to scam anyone, I need someone to act in good faith. Selected this firm to represent me to appeal my VA disability filing. Spent over an hour on the phone with their reps giving details and they told me I qualify to be represented. They wasted about 4 weeks of my time as they told me not to do anything with my appeals and that they would handle everything. I got an email out of the blue saying they could/would no longer be representing my case without any explanation. Complete waste of time, I didn't know we can only have one outside firm/entity representing us also, so they had kicked the DAV off my profile...now I have to re-apply to the DAV.
