I had never been in a bad car accident before and a family member urged me to find a lawyer to represent me to make sure all my medical bills would be covered by the at fault driver's insurance. I asked around who was good and did some searching and did the free consultation with Brian Cunha. I felt at ease talking to him and he had successfully handled so many cases similar to mine. I also liked that he had staff to back him up because I did not want a lawyer where I would call and call and never hear back from them about my case. They handled everything and got me compensation for much more than just my medical bills. One area that I received compensation from was lost wages. When I tried to work with the insurance company myself I kept getting the run around and being told I needed to provide additional information after I had specifically asked them to tell me everything they needed from me. Getting the settlement was not instant, but my lawyer kept working on the case and I received the maximum amount as a settlement. I am very happy I used this personal injury law firm.

As they'd been the ones pulling unethical stunts, that ordeal rankled deeply. At the same time, I was far out of my element. I turned to local attorney Shannon McMahon, though I'd known her only slightly; thanks to a coincidental insight, I had reason to hold her in high esteem. ... I then learned, alas, that Ms. McMahon had recently joined an area firm with a corporate clientèle. She'd kindly voiced regret at being unavailable, then had warmly recommended Ms. Hendrie, who was one of her law-school classmates. And how grateful I am for that referral! ... Ms. Hendrie had soon managed to fit me into her calendar, and with rare efficiency mapped a plan of attack. Before I knew it, she'd discreet overtures to opposing counsel. In essence, that entity responded as she'd foreseen. The charges wound up provisionally dropped; it seems that's how such cases work. Then, after 30 days, it was as if the whole mess had never happened: no trace remains of that retailer's smear. ... I'll always be grateful that Ms. McMahon saw fit to recommend Ms. Hendrie. In Melissa's capable hands, I found my way to what was literally the best-case scenario. She's a true professional and, like her colleagues, knows which players in this arena represent the best prospective allies. Plus, I could tell she truly cares about clients' priorities, not to mention one's peace of mind. ... To put that distressing matter behind me, things had to be done right -- in all respects. Ms. Hendrie made it happen, and I trust her implicitly. I also saw her at court on another occasions, when she represented another client; then, too, I formed quite a favorable impression. As a result of all these factors, I'll never hesitate to share Ms. Hendrie's name with friends, relatives or business associates; she's an ace.
