Boyes sells a bit of everything, it's bordering on being (dare I say it ) a 'tat' shop.. It's a bit of a jumble sale! The first floor as various things for making your own furnishings, such as materials, cottons etc and on the ground floor you'll find a wide range of products from cleaning materials, DIY, kitchen wares as well as clothes, kids, mens and ladies to sweets crisps and various confectionery. Boyes is always value for money so if you fancy having a rummage around the shop, which is always just a little bit tatty, I'm sure you'll find something you never new you needed!

When I contacted their "customer service team" they asked me to upload photos to prove that the item was not as described. They then refuted the claim, but after much back and forth they eventually agreed to accept a return. There were further (avoidable) frustrations trying to negotiate who would pay for shipping (and how much.) This is not the first time I have had an issue retuning an item to them so be confident before you order. I buy from other comparable stores (End Clothing, Peggs & Son, etc) who's customer service has been outstanding in comparison.

They stock things like notebooks, photo albumns, cushions, throws, money boxes and re-useable shopping bags. They do a great range of jewellery and some fantastic wine glasses made from recycled glass bottles. Buy your gifts here and shop with a clear conscience. The staff are friendly and the shop has a relaxed, laid back atmosphere; they're used to people just browsing. It's not cheap, but not too dear either and you're paying for ethical goods.
