This "business" shared a very insensitive joke about fertility on Instagram on April Fool's Day. I…read morewrote them a private message to let them know that joking about such things negatively impacts families who have suffered infertility, miscarriages, and children who have passed away. Instead of engaging with that message, which was very much a compassionate "calling in", the couple blocked me immediately. Do not work with this "business" if your family has experienced familial grief. They do not harbor the compassion, nor the professional capacity, to be sensitive to these things. I'm so glad they're not photographing my wedding. I encourage these photographers to consider their fragility and the gift it is to be called in. By refusing conversation, they've earned being called out. This is not a couple who deserve to photograph a special moment.

But let me try: From the moment I met Angie, I knew she was "the one." I still think it was those few minutes that saved the day for me! We got to scarf down a snack, sip on a drink, and charge our batteries before walking down that aisle. Our wedding was a wild ride and Angie and Paul were there to capture each moment, while hanging out with my friends, and genuinely having a great time. They LOVE what they do, and it shows in every click of their camera. On top of doing an amazing job for our wedding, Angie made the long (traffic-filled) trek to our Rehearsal Dinner as well!!
