Leading up to our trial for a custody/parental alienation case it seemed we were dealing with someone who was very busy as we received little communication. I get that's typical in the legal profession, we assumed he had a busy work load. However, we were also paying clients and did not feel that he fully grasped our situation. We reached out occasionally and sometimes get a response days later (if any). I will mention that we requested a call to discuss things around our trial date to ensure we were on the same page. He did make time for us the day before our court date. While we appreciated the contact, it was too late to add any evidence or possibly make changes to help our cause. Upon arriving the day of court, we heard him mention to us that some of the exhibits were turned in late. We had so much false hope for how things would go that day. He will loose evidence from the time it's presented to the time it's supposed to be handed over to the judge. He shakes. He was at one point called into the judges chambers, and you could hear the judge yelling at him out of frustration. He asks to leave the court room to talk to his assistant. He asks your witnesses, "What questions should I ask on the stand?" He tells witnesses your case cannot be won without them. Two of my witnesses in the court hearing that day asked me if I thought he may have been under the influence of drugs. He does not do research. He does not put time into your case. If you hire this lawyer, you may as well make a stand during the hearing and ask for a continuance for his incompetence. Save your 11,000 dollars and do not hire.
