After my initial consultation, Evangelia gave me 3 options for ortho corrections: metal, ceramic, and Invisalign. Then I got 2 different types of payment options: payment in full and office financing with 0% interest. There are some discount incentives if you pay in full. I ended up going with Invisalign and the 0% office financing. To make things even better, I had a bunch of questions about my dental insurance that I didn't fully understand. Evangelia sorted out all the details so I was able to get an accurate quote. Fast forward 15-16 months, I am in the process of deciding when I should cancel my dental insurance and I was able to get assistance running the math! As for my teeth, they look amazing. Originally every orthodontist was telling me that I needed to undergo surgery to shave out the ends of some of my teeth but Dr. Lee said I didn't need to it. I also had a bunch of questions that Dr. Lee was able to square away for me throughout the 15-16 months. And any questions that I randomly had throughout the process was readily answered with a quick phone or email. Last note but they also do an amazing job with all the COVID precautions! Examples include sanitizing pens, equipment, and chairs after every use. I can't recommend this place enough!

The out of pocket fees were overwhelming, as such, I had to find another provider. I was sketchy about the neighborhood/ location but I showed up. Despite making the appointment and front loading a lot of information about my medical condition, they were super confused when I arrived. The (3) dental assistants were spinning in circles around me, looking at the x-rays and talking to each other - but not me and it was very awkward.Eventually the dental hygienist showed up and she seemed normal, I explained to her that I had been hospitalized and was looking to get a deep cleaning . She was empathetic and took her time in ensuring that I was getting the care I needed. The dentist, Dr M. was also compassionate. They sent a treatment plan to Cigna for approval and then rest of the work was supposed to start today, Monday June 8th but when I arrive, he's not here and the assistants are equally as confused again. The way they spoke to me was very dehumanizing and very disrespectful. I have already had my X-rays done here and it's my only one for the year. Now I'm forced to find another practice because I certainly can't sustain a a relationship with them with this type of behavior. I'd suggest the staff receive implicit bias and bedside training.

And I was told someone would call me back to get more information. No one called me. This doesn't surprise me. Hmmm) She said the error was that zocdoc had me booked with a different dentist than the one who was available (wait... what? I dont even get to see the dentist i made an appt with?)
