I paid for legal services that were never performed -- not delayed, not incomplete, but entirely neglected. Despite multiple requests, he has refused to return my money. I have clear evidence to support this, including audio recordings and extensive documentation showing that no meaningful work was ever done on my case. What makes this even more alarming is his lack of basic professionalism. He repeatedly forgot who I was, confused me with other clients, and even addressed me by the wrong names on multiple occasions. That alone should tell you how little attention or care is given to the people he represents. In my opinion, this behavior is not just careless -- it is deeply concerning. He presents himself as a man of strong Christian values, but my experience did not reflect honesty, accountability, or integrity in any way. If you value your time, money, and case, protect yourself. Get everything in writing, document every interaction, and do not rely on promises. Based on my experience, I would not recommend him under any circumstances. Hired them for a probate case initially and within a month or so we were involved in an accident where the other driver was at fault so we added that item as well. The two stars is only because their fee for the probate was reasonable. Communication was an ongoing problem, document error corrections had to be made multiple times and documents with errors had to be re-filed with the court. This was not an experience I expected to have from a legal professional. As clients we, in my opinion, were treated poorly and when made aware of problems, the main Partner never responded to see if/how he could help.

Unfortunately, against my better judgement I remained with them after her departure. My divorce took 22 months to finalize and in the 20+ months The Hyde Firm worked my divorce, they never filed a single response on my behalf, to any petition from the opposing counsel. They were completely unresponsive to my emails, voice messages, texts, etc.. At one point they sent confidential information to the opposing counsel during discovery, which was for their eyes only. When I closed out my business with them, they sent me another clients information mixed into my legal files.......what a disaster. I ended up retaining Koons Fuller Law Firm and they finalized my divorce in five weeks. Wow, what a difference! As for the business side, I had contracts submitted to this firm that never got reviewed or had any feedback provided from a legal perspective. Months after the non responsiveness, I just stopped sending them items for the business altogether. This is just a small snippet of issues, I could go on. Hopefully nobody goes through what I did.

A clinet should never have to reach out to the AG on personal time, and have the attorneys office on the other line to figure out where the child support is, why it's not getting received, and held 1,600 as I'm being hounded for payment from Melinda and her team. But the source of the problem was something only the attorney can handle. No answers about anything else, and the answers I did get I had to figure out myself and then was charged for the call. Or being "fired" as a clinet the day before my court date because her receptionist didn't properly communicate something to me that Kendall did in court, and then Melinda decided to stay my attorney, but still billed me for the whole process. Just wrong. Again, do your research. You're paying thousands of dollars to people who don't care what happens in your case as long as they get you the bare minimum. Kendall was the only person on this team that made me feel secure and communicated professionally in this 2 year process. It's sad when you personally go to the office more than a week ahead of time and tell them you're not moving forward or agreeing to anything further without a discovery and show up for mediation and it still wasn't done. But you were charged for stopping by. Can't get any back child support because it was in the middle of a "case." Find an attorney who respects your time, money, and makes efforts for you and your case.
