UPDATE 9/2023: Dr. Petrelli remains a terrific doctor. Not only is he thorough, but he is very friendly---seems like a genuinely nice man. The problem is his office manager. I hesitated to write this review as I realize that everyone has bad days and sometimes that is reflected in the service we provide. But I find that the receptionist is unpleasant all the time. I've NEVER (no, not once) seen her smile. In fact, she seems to resent having to interact with customers (as if you're bothering her). I won't go into detail, but there was a problem with an order I placed. She gave me such a hard time even though the problem was on their end, not mine. I only got satisfaction after leaving a frustrated message that Dr. Petrelli must have heard and called me back about. He was gracious. She was not. I must say that although I love Dr. Petrelli, I probably won't return to the office because the interactions with his office manager are so unpleasant. ******* read more

Thank goodness for Dr.Petrelli! I had an emergency, needed something removed from the inside of my eyelid and he took care of it right away! He was very thorough, explained the process and really put me at ease! (I was a little nervous) in less then ten minutes he had removed the object from my eye! Perhaps Dr Petrelli is a good doctor, but there is a big but here. My brother developed cataracts and Dr Petrelli told him not to drive. Since he drives for a living he was unable to work so he had to go on short term disability until he could have cataract surgery. No only did Dr. Petrelli refuse to complete the disability paper work but he also refused to return my calls. After two weeks we have still not heard back from him. He may be good at taking care of your eyes, but he doesn't want to do the paper work! read more

He is kind, professional, and has a very likable personality. Also, there is an excellent selection of glasses and he gets new styles in all the time. There's something for everyone, with a wide range of prices. He also has a great knack for picking out styles that will look good on your face. They take most insurances too. Dr. Petrelli is a fantastic eye doctor. While in Wildwood for a family vacation, I called for an eye emergency on a saturday morning of a holiday weekend. I was able to be seen within an hour. Doc , As we call him is AWESOME ! Saved my eyesight when I went blind with a CRAZY UNIQUE problem in my eye ..with Miracle drops ~ Monitors my young daughters declining eyesight every 6 months and keeps our family seeing CLEARLY !
