Bad management, toxic office environment, unpaid OT, job listings are fake. Would not recommend. read more

I've applied to more than a dozen jobs through Robert Half, and the only emails I ever get from them are advertisements for jobs similar to those to which I've applied. I have never once heard back from a single recruiter. I've worked with placement agencies extensively in the past, and recruiters were always prompt and willing to help job seekers. Seems not to be the case any longer with a number of agencies, but is especially true of Robert Half. read more

First, they tried to send me to interview for a job that had nothing to do with my skills or education. Then, I was sent out as a temp to one job which seemed like a great fit. However, I was told the wrong time to show up, and when I got there and tried to call the office no one was able to talk to me because they were all in meetings. I sat at the job site for about 45 minutes with no call backs so I left. I even confirmed the start time and location the Friday before, but their internal communication is obviously flawed and they were impossible to get ahold of when needed. I complained and spoke to someone at corporate customer service. They listened and was very nice and apologetic but after that, they never called me again for a job. read more

Had a phone interview with Erin Sullivan. She never follows up, or calls and says that she has a position for you and NEVER returns phone calls or emails. Very unprofessional!!!! They are useless, so Do not rely on them to find you a job. Told me to consider working for them as a recruiter. Just shows that they didn't even listen what kind of job opportunities I was looking. If I could give zero stars I would! read more

I dealt with Robert Half years ago in Seattle and thought they were great. And initially the recruiter I was speaking with was great, however didn't handle my field. He referred me to Accountemps to pick up some extra work. I finally was able to get Erin on the phone however she wouldn't submit me for any roles or allow me to take assessments because my most recent experience was something other than accounting. Even for office work...I've worked in an office for 15+ years. I'm highly skilled with Excel and have strong financial skills. But nope, the only way to be submitted for a role is with an accounting resume. I can redo my resume and then she'll submit me...yeah that makes sense. How about using sales skills as a recruiter, allow me to take assessments and then present me to companies in need of my skills? A complete waste of time and utter joke. read more

THIS COMPANY IS ALSO KNOWN AS 'OFFICE TEAM'. I agree with Glen. This company practices age discrimination. I have completed all their tests (it takes 2 hr+ to complete their paperwork and personality tests). I have heard nothing from them. I had an interview appt. with Erin Sullivan, who, when she came out of her office to meet me, she must have decided right away in her mind that I was old to work for them, as sat me down in the waiting room (instead of taking me back to her office), talked to me briefly, gave me a typing test, said goodbye and I never heard from her again. I am in my mid fifties, look a lot younger, have a very youthful personality, and extensive background in sales and marketing and HR. I guess that means nothing now that I am over 40. This company better tread lightly... they are ripe for a lawsuit. I was an executive recruiter in Atlanta, GA for many years. I KNOW that recruiting firms discriminate. I did not, but many did. It is a shame. read more

I'm sooooo thankful for Accountemps! I moved to Palm Desert in May of 2012 and I had been applying for work three months prior to actually moving. I had an interview or two lined up but for the most part, it was a long, tedious, and rejection filled process. Recruiters and hiring managers aren't exactly crazy about hiring someone who doesn't live in their own city yet, I guess. Enter Accountemps; I've never used a temp agency. I found them through Careerbuilder or HCareers or something like that. I applied for a job that directed me to their website. I wasn't really sure about signing on with a temp-agency because I assumed the pay wouldn't be worth it. My friend convinced me that it's worth a shot and the his experience with temp agencies in the past weren't too bad. Thank goodness I had the sense to listen to him. About a week or two after doing my interview with Stephanie I was placed in a very good sized and well known company here in the desert **ahem ahem** Guthy Renker **ahem**. My pay was about the same as what I was making in Newport Beach, which says a lot if you compare the cost of living. The team at Accountemps followed up with me about two weeks after I started. They really cared about my well being in the job they placed me in. Needless to say, I'm super grateful and I feel very lucky to have signed on with a company that has a very caring and active team. read more

After their interview and filling out their paper work and applying for several openings on their website I never heard from them again

A highly professional team of staffers here, always available to help you find the right employee for your position, whether it's part time, full time, temporary or permanent. I've worked with Robert Half for over 15 years and I have nothing but great things to say about them. read more

Where do I start? Oh yeah, first of all I gave them two stars because they do actively try to find you assignments, however these job placements will come with large gaps of waiting time in between or they will end up laying you off for one dumb reason or another. I usually don't like to give negative reviews, but definitely don't go here expecting to get placed in something you really want to do. Most of the jobs I've gotten were mundane and repetitious accounting or sales jobs that never went anywhere and don't pay much because apparently it is more important for officeteam to get higher commissions than give the poor employee who is already desperate for work and struggling to make ends meet the pay they truly deserve. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. read more

Erin & the rest of the team have been wonderful to work with.

The Office Team did a great job finding me a job that was a great match for my skills and had potential to grow into a long term position. They took the time to get familiar with my resume and to interview me in depth so that they could find me a great position. I am very grateful to have found this office and used their services. I would recommend using Office Team to anyone looking for a quality temp agency or job placement service. read more

I presume this agency is great for entry level positions but for the seasoned individual I suggest careerbuilder, etc. They don't even try to hide the fact that they outright discriminate against 40+. When called on it they apologize but guess what .... they never will find you a job. read more

If I could give half a star, I would. Where to start? I've used temp agencies off and on for many years in at least 3 different states, and this has been by far the most frustrating, unprofessional, useless experience I've ever had. Since I signed on with these guys after moving to the area, their site has been filled with positions for which I am interested and qualified, and yet they have refused to submit me for anything I'm interested in. They gave me some line of bs about only being as good as my most recent job, despite having 30 years of experience and qualifications in several different areas. The unprofessionalism is unparalleled. They sent me the job description and paperwork for the wrong assignment than I was interviewing for! I finally got tired of begging them to send me up for positions that I wanted, and decided to drop them all together. It's really unfortunate, because Palm Desert is an extremely difficult town in which to find ANY sort of employment (even low level stuff), so having a good head hunter that have your interests at heart is important. You'll go broke just waiting to find a job. Do yourself a favor an skip these guys. read more

Robert Half invited me to attend an event to raise awareness for the disabled. Erin Sullivan stood in front of a large crowd and gave a speech about how useful the disabled are to the community. However, when her and I spoke one on one, she told me that I would be too much of a burden on an employer. I was born with scoliosis. She tells the community one thing and me the entire opposite. Robert Half doesn't care about the disabled, only how they look in the public's eye. Gross organization. read more
