I've worked with temp agencies in the past and I've experienced better. Other companies really work to find you something. Maybe this company didn't have many orders to fill. When I checked in about two weeks ago, I came to learn they didn't even have a record of me in the system and that if I wanted them to help me I needed to go sign up again. Total waste of time and I guess they have a high turnover rate in their staff because the lady who I had been speaking to wasn't even there anymore. I would definitely not recommend this agency.

Went in…read morefor an interview and the peppy recruiter asked me to come back to do the training (6 hours, unpaid) later that week. After passing both courses, she said she was confident I could begin my two day internship (again, unpaid), and then start a job at $13 per hour as a leasing agent. I believe that was about 3 weeks ago, and each time since then when I've inquired she told me either she was waiting to hear back from the apartments and then later it became that "now isn't a good hiring time" for the apartment complexes. Would have been better had she told me all this before I wasted all that time. But, I guess many staffing agencies know people are desperate and are willing to put up with these shenanigans. Recommend applying here if you have previous leasing experience, otherwise it's not worth the effort, IMO.
