He spent his early years actively in the preparation for a rebellion. The whole affair didn't not end with a success and he was publicly executed. There is a memory stone in the yard of St. Thomas church which depicts in details this memorable day: on 20 September 1803, accused of public treason, he was hanged and then beheaded.
