He often would communicate something to me verbally and not follow up. He miscalculated my child support numbers (even though he had my entire JOD) causing an 8 month delay. After I let him know I was seeking other counsel he informed me he'd send me a check. Long story short, I then magically owed him $300 more than the retainer I paid but he'd happily not charge me the additional $300.
