We were gung-ho and ready to make a push, but as the old adage goes, "Life get's in the way". Weeks became months and sadly months became years... 3 years to be exact. All that being said, an opportunity arose when the local Radio Shack was moving to a new location in Detroit and the location was up for lease. We saw this as a sign and realized that it's pretty much now or never. We followed all the rules: We got a reputable real estate agent, we got an architect, we got the funding, and it finally came down to getting the lease signed.
