She no longer was attentive, no longer answering my phone calls, emails or even text due to questions I had concerning my divorce. It took her almost a month or so to answer me, then long story short n due to not hearing from her, a friend of mine got online n found out my court date information, which she never told me until days b4 the court date. Then I ask her if the divorce will be final on April 23rd , 2023, she proceeds to tell me, all paperwork has been filed it should be good!!! Nope, not even close. We get in front the the court liaison and she proceeds to tell me the judge doesn't grant judgements on the first default, now I know hood and we'll she's dealt with the judge before, so instead of not informing me, I get my hopes up only to be crushed and be told I have to wait another month. My divorce became final May 26, 2023 and I didn't receive my final papers until July 2023!! I attempted to contact her via phone calls, emails, text everything but NOTHING!!! When she finally did contact me, the papers were sitting on someone's desk (how incompetent can you be. You've been paid in full to do a job but it was a job that she totally had no regard for! I felt like because it maybe not enough money or what but I was NOT satisfied with her services at all n would NEVER recommend her to anyone!! PERIOD!!!

We made payments for a couple of years, but our life was upended and it went to collection with $300-$400 remaining. Then this firm, who we never chose to do business with in the first place, got a garnishment of our state tax return and have taken our entire state tax return for over 20 years, adding up to well over $5,000. They still claim that we owe them $3,000 after carefully adding enough fees and interest to overcome the "payments" gained through our tax returns. We're much more financially stable today and paying it off to get them off our backs, but this firm has extracted well over 500% of the original debt over the lifespan of our interaction. Ken was hired to take care of our bankruptcy. Our experience was a clients worse nightmare…read more 1. Very unorganized - Ken would request the same information over and over again. Even in front of the trustee at our hearing, he was fumbling through papers and dropping things. I was so embarrassed! 2. Ineffective Communication - Simple yes or no questions were not answered. The returned response was vague, indirect and many times, did not even relate to our inquiry. 4. No Office - When we first met Ken, he had an office that was local to us. Within weeks, he moved from that office and began using rented office space that was much further away from our home. Location was one of the reasons why Ken was chosen. 5. Errors - We were charged to amend our plan due to an error that KEN MADE with a creditors address. There were multiple mistakes that Ken made due to lack of organization which resulted in our being charged for his time to correct his error. 6. Unethical and unprofessional - The verbiage and tone that Ken used when speaking and/or replying to our emails was completely unacceptable, unprofessional and many times I felt "strong handed" to do something at the time in which was most convenient to Ken. He continued to ask me to "revise" my budget when no changes had occurred. 7. No Legal Assistant - During most of our time spent dealing with Ken, there was not a legal assistant to help him that we were aware of. Therefore, we were charged the lawyer rate for many things that a legal assistant would do, such as make copies. 8. Accusations - When I began researching the bankruptcy process and made Ken aware of my knowledge, he accused me of speaking directly to the trustee or other people who, if were not of legal representation, were breaking the law by counseling me. Neither of which was accurate. In the end, Ken gracefully dismissed himself from our case, but not before insulting me by saying I was being "hostile".
