I'd never seen a naturopath before seeing Dr. Montgomery and was uncertain about paying out of pocket for an initial visit, but I wanted to try a different approach to chronic anxiety and gastrointestinal issues, and for support for a healthy pregnancy. With her support and suggestions, I've been successful in my third attempt to taper off anti-anxiety meds. From my first visit, it was clear that it was a good investment. Dr. Montgomery had spent a lot of time reviewing past labs and my intake forms, and was a wonderful listener. She walked me through her thinking about how to get more info about what was going on with my body and how to support my health. All her ideas were holistic, pragmatic (considering cost, feasibility, etc.), and systematic (maybe try this first, then this...), and she didn't make any assumptions or take anything for granted. I love that she has a background in both naturopathic medicine and Chinese medicine and integrates those approaches. I've been seeing Jules weekly throughout my pregnancy and anxiety med taper journey, and I feel confident that our sessions have been crucial in helping me maintain a stable mood, physical comfort, and overall good health during this important time in my life. I've seen at least 5 different acupuncturists in the cities, and probably a dozen or so in my life, and Jules is my favorite in the cities and top two of all time. Not only is he super skilled at his healing craft and generous (affordable community acupuncture is such a gift!) but also warm and caring and particularly knowledgeable about pregnancy. I always look forward to my sessions and feel wonderful afterwards. Also a shout-out to the front desk staff who are wonderful and warm :)

Dr Barrett took great interest in listening to me and bringing warmth, compassion and her expertise into the time with me. I left feeling like I had a plan and someone to walk with me in this process -not just covering up what was happening, but looking at what deficiencies are there and seeing what is really happening and needed in my body. Also, Dr. Barrett is very knowledgable about natural supplements and what works well with the body systems. Would recommend her to anyone interested in a more natural and deeper approach to health concerns.

Most people don't like going to the doctor but they know it's necessary and very important to do…read moreso. When I visited this clinic for my annual check up I felt like the cleanliness of the facility, the modern design, patient -doctor and medical staff treatment, and ease of maneuvering through the different clinics were phenomenal. It was a combination of going to the airport without the hassle and the customer savvy style of the Apple Store. I literally had my mind blown because I was very impressed that staff were required to wear uniforms like airline staff. I was assisted at check-in by the staff who took my picture with the Microsoft surface and then gave me a badge to wear while I waited to be seen. As I waited - which was not long at all, I noticed that they had a complimentary refreshments station with coffee, tea, hot chocolate etc. At every turn I was impressed. Then when I went to get labs done I received a buzzer, similar to what you get at red lobster or Applebee's when you wait get notified that your table is ready. I was in and out of this place in no time. Loved the efficiency and hope they maintain this high level of service. P.s. They also have a cafe!

They also have shuttle service to nearby apartments. Beautiful artwork displayed by prior patients. All around it is just a great place to be if you need to have something like this done!

The registration process was fairly seamless, and the doctors were kind and focused on my children's experience. When we took my youngest child, it was a little bumpy, or than when we took my oldest last night. However, in both instances, the doctors were beyond excellent. The nurses were kind and responsive as well, but the bedside manner of the doctors was what stood out this trip. One concern I do want to notice is that there seems to be a glitch in their medication ordering system, which did not permit the nurse to get the medication needed within a timely manner. Apparently, this has been going on for days and the health staff have brought this forward for internal review multiple times. I hope this gets fixed as it does. Worst hospital experience. EVER…read more Between my parents, children and us, I have been to almost every hospital in the metro area. Multiple times. First time at United and would never go back. My husband's surgery was scheduled and then changed 3 days before surgery to a new day. The afternoon before surgery, the time was pushed back. Upon arrival it was pushed back. Then the surgery was still another hour later. It had to do with surgery room availability. If you are on My Chart, they send a lot of text messages. Most with very little information. One of them said to take normal meds on the morning of surgery with 2 sips of water. When we arrived, the nurse was upset that my husband took a particular med. He never received a pre-op phone call to discuss. Very strange. The surgery started late so I was left waiting in the surgical area for hours. They have an electronic board with color coding to tell you where the patient is in the process. They will also text you very brief messages that are generic. The board finally showed that my husband was out of surgery and so I packed up my laptop and waited for the doctor. I wasn't sure if they have a consult room or just come to you. No consult room. No one came. The person at the desk disappeared and never came back so no help there. I had to use the restroom but held it because no one had contacted me and I didn't want to miss the doctor. By now it was 4 hours post-surgery. I flagged down an employee walking down the hall and explained the situation. They said they would go to the surgery center and have someone contact me. 45 minutes later the center called and said my husband had been having some issues and they were waiting for a room to keep him overnight. The doctor finally came more than 5 hours post-surgery and apologized. It still was another hour for the room. By now it is after 7pm. My husband hasn't eaten in over 24 hours and is hungry. But the kitchen is closed. No one cared to ask if he was hungry while waiting for the room. He didn't have any dietary restrictions. The nurse finally brought him a cup of ice cream after 8pm. They also don't provide Kleenex, a toothbrush or toothpaste. Huh??? The next morning, the PA said he could go home soon. We waited, and waited and waited. The nursing staff disappeared. We finally buzzed them. We sat for 3 hours. Apparently they decided to fill the meds and were waiting. Here is the crazy part of that ... 3 of the meds were Tylenol, Advil and a stool softener. All of which we have at home in brand names vs. generic and they charged a lot. But the strangest part is when he was finally ready to go, they said he could leave. Did he want a transport downstairs? It could take another hour. Every hospital has always made us ride in a wheelchair due to liability issues. So we walked across the street to the parking ramp after surgery in the abdominal region. What??? The cafe is open shorter hours and the chicken enchilada special was very poor. The parking ramp (blue) is undergoing repair and is somewhat scary from a structural standpoint NOT recommended.
