The ENTIRE Kayal group should be avoided at all costs. I have had over a dozen appointments in the last 2 months for shoulder and arm pain. Every single instance of doctor visits, test and PT have had some kind of error in scheduling, confusion (on Kayals behalf, not mine) or just incompetence that has made me utterly furious. Im sure there are nice people that work there, but as a patient with pain, I feel like a very small "number" being shuttled through their fancy factory without any care or accountability on their part. So many scheduling errors and so much time being ignored and NOTHING from the staff or management about an apology. While an individual doctor may 'care' about your health problem, make no mistake - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. They seem to be struggling with trying to grow the volume of their business, while making the individual feel ignored and insignificant. Specifically, I was placed with incompetent PT staff - I (wtih no medical training) knew more about their facility and process than they did and they made me feel like I was in danger of hurting myself. Multiple doctor visits we're incorrectly scheduled - a doctor would change the entire city of the appointment and I was never notified. Thier respinse was to ask if it was ok for me to reschedule out another 6 weeks. Rude and arrogant beyond imagination. Another visit the doctor was over an HOUR late and no one EVER came to say 'sorry' or can you wait a bit more. They do not care about me as a patient or customer. They DO care about their video loop of the founder listening to irrelevent doctors droning on about some obscure thing that has nothing to do with me on obnoxious video screens all over their practices. Even in my exam room with the doctor in it - we had to speak over the podcast recording!! I wanted to say "Is anyone seeing this - Am I on a hidden camera show??" They do care about their marble and blue glass interior design - that is obvious - office decoration and video screen BS is definitely a priority over customer service. If only they could give me, the patient, 10% of the care they used in promoting themselves, I would not be writing this note. But sadly, they wont even care about this. Dr.Kayal is an extraordinary man! I can not thank him enough for his continuous effort to care for my health and well being. He cares deeply for his patients and has always recommended the best care for me after my car accident on 07/05/18. Not only is he fully accommodating offering many services from Pain and Spine, full body orthopaedic to rheumatology, and MRI. I have had a pleasant experience at all of his locations. Not only are the offices clean and beautiful but the staff is impeccable. Dr. Kayal put his heart and soul into his practice and it shows in all his work including the super friendly staff that is there to welcome you with open arms . His front desk staff has always helped me answer all my questions and reassure me when i was having trouble with my insurance. His MA's are warm, and are always offering to help you on to the exam tables and walk you out to your car. His management team went above and beyond whenever I called in regards to my escalated motor vehicle situation. I just want to say thank you wholeheartedly Dr. Kayal, not only are you kind and generous whenever I have had the pleasure of being treated by you but you have exceeded all of my standards within your practice. An excellent Doctor in himself but you also have amazing PA's, MA's. management, front desk, x-ray staff, and all the other amazing Doctors that have treated me at your practice. Kayal Orthepedics are basically insurance money grubbing ambulance chasers- How else do you think they have the fancy nancy marble encrusted office space they own- They charge $459 for an office visit! They will overperscribe expensive testing such as MRIs and even x-rays to bilk you and your insurance company. Look for a different option. Great customer service throughout the practice! Dr. Kayal diagnosed my issue within a minute of meeting me and confirmed it with an MRI, which by the way, they have at one of their offices.
