My son has had two surgeries performed by Dr. Lin (re-attach finger tendon) and Dr. Rapaport (broken tibia/fibula and ankle) at Kayal Orthopaedic. From surgery to physical therapy, both doctors were phenomenal and stayed personally involved in his recovery. Because of Dr. Rapaport, my son was back playing soccer in 4mos, much to everyone's surprise. Along his journey, Dr. Robert Kayal personally checked in on his progress and post surgery visits. I highly recommend Kayal Orthopaedic and Dr. Kayal to all my friends and family. read more

I was having issues with my back and the office was able to get me in fast. They were able to do scans on the spot and determine what was wrong with me instantly. I was back on my feet because of them. Nice group of people working there as well. read more

Kayal and his associates performed my mother's hip surgery. My mother has had other surgeries in the past including back and shoulder without any issue. After this surgery my mother encountered numerous problems, including a shortened gait. When we went attended her after surgery appointment Kayal's associate suggested it was time to get the other hip done to match the gait. I couldn't believe the audacity of the doctor, no bedside manner whatsoever, which I told him. My mother only met Kayal once before the surgery and he did not conduct the post-surgery meeting. Two years later my mother is constant pain still, and has to add a lift to all her shoes to match her gait. Kayal is a businessman first and a doctor second (apparently he has a large real estate empire). If I could give 0 stars, I would. read more

I've been seen by Dr. Kayal for multiple injuries. Each time I get quick and thorough care, same day MRI when I needed it, and even sent my girlfriend and her father here for their issues too. When you care about loved ones, you pick their doctors very carefully. Nothing but good things to say about Doctor Kayal! read more

Me and my family have been treating with Dr. Kayal for 2 years and i am so happy with the care we have all been receiving! He explains everything with detail and answered all of our questions and concern. He also fixed a tear in my sisters knee and she is healing wonderfully thanks to him and his team! His staff is also friendly and helped me with my all of my needs. I wont go to any other ortho place as this place exceeds my expectation! I recommend Dr. Kayal to all of my family and friends, you won't be disappointed! They have everything you need to make sure you're properly cared for! read more

Dr.Kayal is an extraordinary man! I can not thank him enough for his continuous effort to care for my health and well being. He cares deeply for his patients and has always recommended the best care for me after my car accident on 07/05/18. Not only is he fully accommodating offering many services from Pain and Spine, full body orthopaedic to rheumatology, and MRI. I have had a pleasant experience at all of his locations. Not only are the offices clean and beautiful but the staff is impeccable. Dr. Kayal put his heart and soul into his practice and it shows in all his work including the super friendly staff that is there to welcome you with open arms . His front desk staff has always helped me answer all my questions and reassure me when i was having trouble with my insurance. His MA's are warm, and are always offering to help you on to the exam tables and walk you out to your car. His management team went above and beyond whenever I called in regards to my escalated motor vehicle situation. I just want to say thank you wholeheartedly Dr. Kayal, not only are you kind and generous whenever I have had the pleasure of being treated by you but you have exceeded all of my standards within your practice. An excellent Doctor in himself but you also have amazing PA's, MA's. management, front desk, x-ray staff, and all the other amazing Doctors that have treated me at your practice. You truly have the most amazing team. I normally do not write reviews but i truly felt as if this practice deserved a lot of praise, I have never been more excited to actually go to the doctor! Reply I wrote to Dr. Robert Kayal of Kayal Orthopedics, he blocked me from messaging him. He initiated the messaging after a reply I posted on his FB page last year. " I was horrified by your phone call to me a few days ago Dec 21, 2017. I have never been spoken to so aggressively by a man ever in my life! I completely misread your character, you have none. you are an awful man. I said a prayer for you at Midnight Mass last night. I will never give you another thought, I leave you to Jesus. Merry Christmas, rejoice in the Lord. I decided to let Dr Robert Kayal of Kayal Orthopedics know that although he did intimidate me at first as he was yelling at me and threatening to resurrect any bills his practice wrote off ($30.00 the copay for my last visit) if I wrote an un-flattering review. I decided during Christmas Mass last night that I needed to say my piece to Robert Kayal and then "let it go". He however blocked me from his FB page. I have had to have 2 shoulder surgeries at Hospital for Special Surgery in NYC since that last office visit to Dr Kayal on Dec 21, 2016. I was at Midnight Mass last night I decided to "let it go" He had blocked me from posting my review, so I 'm letting it go here Merry Christmas to all and to Good Health! read more

The ENTIRE Kayal group should be avoided at all costs. I have had over a dozen appointments in the last 2 months for shoulder and arm pain. Every single instance of doctor visits, test and PT have had some kind of error in scheduling, confusion (on Kayals behalf, not mine) or just incompetence that has made me utterly furious. Im sure there are nice people that work there, but as a patient with pain, I feel like a very small "number" being shuttled through their fancy factory without any care or accountability on their part. So many scheduling errors and so much time being ignored and NOTHING from the staff or management about an apology. While an individual doctor may 'care' about your health problem, make no mistake - THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. They seem to be struggling with trying to grow the volume of their business, while making the individual feel ignored and insignificant. Specifically, I was placed with incompetent PT staff - I (wtih no medical training) knew more about their facility and process than they did and they made me feel like I was in danger of hurting myself. Multiple doctor visits we're incorrectly scheduled - a doctor would change the entire city of the appointment and I was never notified. Thier respinse was to ask if it was ok for me to reschedule out another 6 weeks. Rude and arrogant beyond imagination. Another visit the doctor was over an HOUR late and no one EVER came to say 'sorry' or can you wait a bit more. They do not care about me as a patient or customer. They DO care about their video loop of the founder listening to irrelevent doctors droning on about some obscure thing that has nothing to do with me on obnoxious video screens all over their practices. Even in my exam room with the doctor in it - we had to speak over the podcast recording!! I wanted to say "Is anyone seeing this - Am I on a hidden camera show??" They do care about their marble and blue glass interior design - that is obvious - office decoration and video screen BS is definitely a priority over customer service. If only they could give me, the patient, 10% of the care they used in promoting themselves, I would not be writing this note. But sadly, they wont even care about this. Hopefully I can help another person with real pain avoud the extreme frustration that I had in dealing with the Kayal group. STAY AWAY FROM KAYAL!!!! read more

With two boys that played 16 years of football from pee-wee thru college, Kayal Ortho became like a second home. Unfortunately, we had our fair share of injuries thru the years, and Dr. Kayal and his team never disappointed. Friendly and efficient staff, to in house imaging, to the best team of doctors ever assembled. The care you will receive here is second to none. Five stars out of five without hesitation. read more

Kayal Orthepedics are basically insurance money grubbing ambulance chasers- How else do you think they have the fancy nancy marble encrusted office space they own- They charge $459 for an office visit! They will overperscribe expensive testing such as MRIs and even x-rays to bilk you and your insurance company. Look for a different option. Avoid a place that makes you pay through your nose! read more

Great customer service throughout the practice! Dr. Kayal diagnosed my issue within a minute of meeting me and confirmed it with an MRI, which by the way, they have at one of their offices. No need to schedule an MRI elsewhere. Surgery went great, as did the follow ups! I'd strongly recommend them! read more
