I found myself recently in a situation with my HOA where I was seeking advice on how to handle the…read moresituation and found Gantenbein Law Firm. Most people don't think of Yelp as a place to find anything other than a restaurant nearby but can assure you it's much more. If a professional service business has good reviews it's because they did an amazing job so I can assure you to trust those reviews. Their website has a contact form which allows you to submit your request/concern after hours to have someone follow up and walk you through next steps. I was contacted by Jan who had been trying to reach me for over a week (due to me transposing a number for my cell phone) and she was so amazing at providing an overview of how the practice works and what to expect. She has a calming and empathetic way of handling clients and is a great Segway into what to expect after. Jan set an appointment with Matt about a week out who specializes in HOA issues (and had great reviews and feedback on the internet) so I was excited to get some expert feedback on what I should do. Matt called me on the dot for our scheduled appointment and immediately had a way of making me feel at ease -meaning I wasn't worried he was a shady attorney who will tell you anything to get you to put down a retainer. In fact, he did the opposite. He took the time to walk through each of my concerns, provided info on what I need to have on hand to build a case if I wanted, and also was able to reference Colorado laws. He also is the type to admit he might not be the expert in a certain field but could definitely find you one who was. Such an admirable trait to feel you weren't getting catfished :) Anyhow long story short, Matt took more time than allotted to answer my questions and make sure I had everything I needed to decide if I wanted to move forward with a case. He isn't pushy and felt like I was talking to a good friend who offered advice as the SME. Although I'm not sure what I'm doing with my case yet he provided me with more than enough info to help me understand how I can make a decision! I would highly recommend these guys if ever in need of a real estate matter and especially one that involves an HOA! They also do more but that is the reason I reached out! Thanks guys for taking the time to provide and arm me with your knowledge of expertise! While no one ever wants to seek out an attorney these guys are ones you would want to promote to all your friends and family! Thanks again!

Mr. Earl and his team did a great job of getting my paperwork together with my help and was on top of everything. It was not necessary to have multiple calls/meetings as he is involved with constant cases (but still time for yours) and he is well received. We went to trial where he had everything in order so things went smoothly, he had additional questions showing my disability, and knew what to expect. Due to his hard work and knowledge (and his team like Laura)- I received a fully favorable review which I am in dire need of since I cannot work and haven't in years not to mention the chronic pain for years now. It caused me a lot of stress and I am glad that it is over for now. He is very matter of fact and timely. I highly suggest his services if you need disability and the medical coverage it may also provide you.

Abrupt Closure & Zero Communication on Client Trust Funds…read more CNL Law Firm abruptly closed its doors with virtually no notice. Clients received an email on Monday, July 20th stating: "We are writing to inform you of a critical and time-sensitive change regarding your legal representation. Effective Friday, July 17, 2026, CNL Law Firm, PLLC has closed." It has now been a full week since the closure, and the managing attorney/owner has provided zero communication regarding how or when clients will receive their unused retainer funds held in trust. Multiple follow-ups have gone completely ignored. It is deeply unprofessional to shutter a legal practice without an established process for returning client property and unearned retainer balances. Proceed with caution.

Rob represented my wife and me through a personal bankruptcy which was the aftermath of our…read morebusiness's post-COVID Chapter 11 restructuring. The business survived that chapter, handled by another excellent attorney, but one creditor had retained a particularly aggressive lawyer who had a sordid reputation throughout the state. He had his sights set on our home, and having already faced him on the business side, we knew we needed serious representation. We asked personal friends and professional associates for recommendations and Rob's name came up repeatedly from completely unconnected people. When a friend who used to work as a bill collector threw in his recommendation, we figured we had our guy. This case was an absolute rat's nest. Opposing counsel threw every trick they could find at us trying to scare us. Rob told us ours was ultimately the second-hardest case he had ever handled, and he's had some tough ones. He navigated every aspect with sharp professionalism and a real understanding of the nuances involved, both the legal and the human side of things. His counsel was well-informed and his level of caution was on point for the situation we were in. After a lot of senseless drama, we ended up keeping our home on essentially the same terms we had offered the creditor from the beginning. It was a fair deal throughout and one that fulfilled our responsibilities to the best of our abilities. One thing worth mentioning: Rob comes off at first as a soft-spoken, maybe slightly frazzled kind of guy. Do not let that fool you. Most people who hire him will never get to see what he looks like in a courtroom, and you are missing out. We did get to see it, and it was something else. After the first time we watched him argue on our behalf, my wife and I looked at each other afterward and pretty much said, "Holy shit, this guy is terrifying." He fights with facts, mounds of them, and he knows how to turn hard, irrefutable facts into a human story. After the first 5 minutes I thought "Wow bro just went full nuclear out of the gate". Nope, nope he had not, he wasn't even warmed up yet. I've sat through plenty of court proceedings and it's usually a dry affair. I would not want to be on the other side of Rob. That's all I'm saying. I almost, almost a little bit felt sorry for the grease bag trying to take our house for a minute. But nah. He didn't just file papers and blather in a courtroom. Rob saved our home and our way of life. In doing so, he helped preserve the stability that lets us keep running a business that employs a dozen people here in Colorado, continue to serve our customers AND fulfill our responsibility to our creditors.
