This walk has the beginnings of something wonderful for Robe. You can enter it via either end of the Marina (aka Lake Butler), and you walk along the edge of the water along a trail and a raised boardwalk to the other side. Along the way you will see some great views of Robe from angles that you wouldn't normally see. There are interesting critters scurrying around below in the water and at the Karatta Road end (the western one) it was fun to look under the rocks for crabs. The problem is that it is too short. What would be wonderful is if it was linked to an organised trail from the beginning of Robe around all the various lakes through town and out the other side along all the fantastic little beaches and nooks along the shoreline.
