I get the feeling it was a private course and they would probably like to stay private but need the money of the general public and for that reason I feel as though they have a little bit of a attitude toward nonmembers playing there. When asking the woman in the pro shop about getting paired up she said there was no one else playing if I wanted to pair up with other people (which I did want to) then I should go over to River Valley Ranch because they are busier and I would probably get paired up. Also when I asked about if they had GPS on the golf carts or yardage books or any maps of the golf course(because we have never been there), her reply was no but they do have them at River Valley Ranch maybe you should go there. And oddly enough my golf cart died after 13 holes and I had to limp back to the pro shop and swap carts. I think that's kind of ironic considering that there was really nobody there but yet I had a dead golf cart. So even though I love the golf course, I think it's overpriced for the service and the lack of amenities. Maybe they'll get enough money to go private again and they'll all be happy.

I had the seafood cioppino, had halibut, shrimp, crab, and garlic toast, yum. My husband had the large caesar salad and the bowl of garlic shrimp, very good. The burger and fries also delicious. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was excellent. Although we couldn't sit outside due to weather, I want to return when sunny, the views are beautiful. Happy to live close by, will return, and I highly recommend.

The extra star beyond the bare minimum is for past experiences only and not today's. I stopped by today with my four-year-old daughter, after buying her a couple clubs at Replay Sports in Aspen. She was really excited to hit a few balls on the range. Evidently the club is now members only which changed last year without any sort of publicizing on their part. I asked if she could hit a few balls on the range and took out my credit card to buy a bucket. The range was almost empty and it was 2 PM on Wednesday. But we were turned away because we aren't members. My four year old was very disappointed. For them to not let her hit a few balls on a mostly empty range was pretty ridiculous. I will not be giving them my business anymore.

Ashley Rogers did a fabulous job coordinating the event with balloons, table linens, beautiful flowers, music and much more. Owen Larson, PGA Professional, went above and beyond with score cards and a monitor at the party for live scoring and the awards ceremony. Jason was our bartender and he was amazing! And I wish I knew the name of the chef so I could thank him here. Everyone raved about the food as it was truly delicious. Molly helped make custom bag tags for all guests with a Red Sky Ranch logo and my husband's name and birthday on them. A special keepsake for all guests. And of course The Fazio Course at Red Sky Ranch is so beautiful. It is always a treat to play golf there and my husband's friends were "over the moon"! The clubhouse, patio flowers and SummerThyme Restaurant with indoor/outdoor dining viewing to the 18th hole is just magical. Thank you to all of the event coordinators - but most especially to Ashley - for making this a day we will never forget!!

That would've put us at the golf course at 3 o'clock when we called to explain we were gonna be late. They said they were not hold the golf cart for 15 minutes explained that the course was wide open according to the reservations, we are experience, golfers, and seriously doubt if we take two hours to play that nine holes of golf also offered that I would give them my phone number and we would end around short if needed. We are recently in a very serious car accident and I'm unable to walk the course. My wife even has a handicap placard to show that she's unable to walk that far. I am very disappointed in the lack of consideration, considering the long drive that we were prepared to do and the fact that the reason we were gonna be 15 minutes late was because of a road closure for over an hour. Is this really how you treat your customers I will make sure that everyone I know, including every golf course, golf store, instructor, a travel person I know is aware of how you care about your customers. It's truly sad

Only snafu for me was the club rental. They have nice new Calloway rental sets. They asked if I wanted senior clubs and I said yes. Unfortunately the senior clubs were some beat up old Titleists so stay away from those. The rangers did keep play moving which I greatly appreciated. Some people spend too much time and psychic energy bonding with their golf balls and slow down play. You will definitely lose a few balls on this course so just expect it, live with it and keep moving. With the thick vegetation and the meandering creek these balls are gone forever so just let them go. II'd play here again anytime!

So since the twilight was only $100, I decided to fork over the cash and enjoy a round on a beautiful course tucked into the mountains. Course was kept up very well. The views were amazing. Lots of elevation changes. I rented clubs as well and they were very nice (Taylormade). Beer cart lady was on the course. She offered snacks, beers, soft drinks, and liquor. I wish I could play golf on courses like this all the time. I typically play up at Cape Royale on Lake Livingston. No comparison. If you get a chance, spend the money and play golf in Colorado during the summer. All the courses I passed on 71 in the many ski resort towns looked very nice.
