Most weekends they have activities we landed on BBQ cookout and music it was really good. Lots of people food and music very happy place. They have a POOL for kids and a heated pool for adults we felt bad that we didn't bring our bathing suits but I wet my feet just to enjoy the water a little bit A nice trail for hiking and a basketball court. I can't express enough how happy I was with my husband's choice for a mini vacation. Just one downside, WOOD is a hit or miss here due to outside storage could be wet could be dry and of course wet does not burn well. See you next year

The ladies that run the place are friendly and fun. There's always workers around cleaning up, blowing leaves, working on sites. Keeping the place really nice. The cottages themselves look really cute although we didn't go inside them. A lot of them are lakefront, which is lovely. If you haven't been here, give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

Off the beaten path for sure - about 13 miles from I-90. There is a bridge under construction at…read morethe moment so you may have to take a longer route to get here depending on which direction you are coming from. They have specific instructions on their website. Coming from the east, the roads through Sturbridge are very rutted. Brimfield is slightly better. There are overhanging branches on Town Farm road, and we snagged a couple. The check-in was quick and easy; however, they do not supply a map or give you any information about the campground. The interior roads are mostly dirt with some gravel. They are narrow and challenging for big rigs. The RV sites are situated in all directions so it looks a bit disheveled. The transient sites have dirt/grass/mud and some have a smattering of gravel. The seasonal/permanent sites (which occupy most of the spaces) have more gravel. To get into our site, we had to drive up an incline to a flatter area which barely had enough room to get all our tires on it. We were towing a vehicle which remained on the incline. Our rig was leaning towards the driver's side but the levelers were able to do their job. There was a large square dirt area outside our door where apparently someone had placed a rug for a long time. Our bedroom window looked right out onto the porch of the park model that was backed up to ours. Getting out of our site was interesting as we had to make a tight turn. Luckily, no one was in the sites(plural!) across from us because we imposed heavily on them. Satellite would work in some sites. I don't know if they have cable or not. Verizon was 5g 2 bars or 4g 3 bars; however, our hot spots acted wonky. Trains can be heard off in the distance but they aren't intrusive. It is very quiet at night so there's that. FYI - They charge $6 extra a night for 50 amp and $3.50 transaction fee. Pretty high priced for what you get. Just did not tickle our fancy so we won't be back.

This is an ok campground. We found it thru Good Sams but it is no longer affiliated with them…read more This is mainly a seasonal campground with at least 3/4ths of the sites seasonal. We stayed over the weekend passing thru from Maine to Michigan. They had a 50's band as entertainment on Saturday night. Lots of the campers dressed up and most people know each other. It has a pool, swimming pond, fish pond but we didn't use them. The showers are very small but clean. They have very cool fire pits. Probably won't be back but it was fine for a few nights. It's actually pretty quite campground. Very one was very nice. Another thing is the streets and sites are pretty rocky/gravely.

I was so disappointed with this place. When you talk to the people on the phone they are so kind…read moreand so friendly and I was looking forward to the weekend. It was our first weekend of camping and we actually did stay an extra night. But we only stayed the extra night to see our friends who we haven't seen in a long time. Otherwise we have would've been out of there probably Saturday morning after arriving on Friday night. As we drove up to the campground I could see junk cars lining the street before the entrance. Then we pulled into the campground and were immediately accosted by the dumpster with piles of junk next to it and a house with a bunch of boats and farm equipment in the yard. Mike went up and registered which was simple and easy. Then we went through the gate and around to our campsite. As we drove to our campsite there was a tractor parked in the middle of the road and we had to drive around it on the grass to get to our campsite. That seemed odd. Then we drove to this field which had a nice green grass but no trees and this was where our campsite was located. Now we live in a city in Rhode Island and on a road that is fairly busy but not nearly as busy as the road that was about three campers length from our campsite. I was absolutely floored that we would be spending the weekend that close to a very busy road and listening to that traffic constantly. Then I looked around behind our campsite and there were piles and piles and huge piles of junk. Piles of wood , piles of equipment, piles of metal, piles of stone. It was just junk everywhere. Definitely a hoarder's farm. So on one side we had the main road with the traffic and behind us our view was of a bunch of junk. And it just didn't end there. Everywhere you looked was junk. It was like camping in a junkyard. We took a drive the next day because we had read that this was a popular campground with decent ratings. For the life of me, I cannot figure out why that is. We saw many sites which appeared to be seasonal sites. We saw several places where new construction was going on. None of the construction was completed and they actually had a functioning gravel bank right in the campground. There were campers parked next to it and across from it. The newer campsites had gravel instead of grass where you would park your camper. I could see that many people had been seasonal there for a long time because they had their own lawns and sheds and decorations that appear to have been there a long time. But when you got to the end of pretty much every road there was construction equipment working on the weekend, there was construction equipment lying on the side of the road, there was just more junk everywhere. As far as amenities, they have a man-made springfed pond. They do say that it is stocked but there is no swimming pool. They have a baseball field that needs reseeding because the grass is terrible. They do have a playground which looked pretty good. They had a couple of activities the weekend we arrived but we did not take part in them because we are still avoiding crowds. I wish I could say something good about them besides the fact that they are kind and friendly people but I can't. We will never go back again it was just not an experience that was relaxing and that rural atmosphere that you look for when you camp.
