Stopped here on way from work for some diesel fuel and decided to grab a quick bite to eat while I was here. There were two travel busses parked one of which had their passengers at the store for a bus stop. I fueled up and went inside. There is a Subway, Tex Mex food and Chester's chicken inside. I ordered from the Chester's Chicken inside and to my disappointment they were out of mash potatoes. The food looked dry behind the heat lamp, I ordered the 2 pc combo came with one side and a leg and a thigh as well as drink. The chicken was dry, the wedges were a little over done while crispy I smothered them with ketchup. Overall, older looking Road Ranger, dry fried Chester's Chicken, biscuit and wedges were a disappointment. Guess this will be a Chester's I'll try to avoid should have stuck with the Subway. Only plus is 3 restaurants in truck stop and employees are friendly. read more

This place is always packed with people heading to Laredo or Eagle Pass. Inside it has a restaurant with Mexican food, Chester's Chicken, and subway. We have had the tacos before and they are not all that and expensive. The burritos on the other hand are very good. On this occasion we had the chicken and chicken tenders with sides. The chicken was dry, the okra was chewy and the coleslaw was so tarty that my husband almost threw up. We were actually sitting in the location so I went back to return the sides and they were ok with returning them but honestly they should have a timer and throw food away that has been sitting to long. The employees are very nice. Now the store itself is huge but very clean and has a variety of other food options but pricey. read more

The night employee at Moore Texas is simply lazy on the phone type that refused me a shower because she didn't want to have to clean them before the next shift came in !!!.. asked her if they were dirty she said no. What the heck ?.. her job tonight was to sit behind the counter with her phone. I spent thousands of dollars buying fuel at these stores but to this store and the one at encinal Texas's customers are treated rudely. I'm sick of it. Stopped to get some tacos on the way to casino. This is our usual stop. The tacos we just got were nasty. The tortillas were cold and extremely soggy from the water in the food. It was GROSS. Don't stop here. Even the bathroom were nasty! There are flies everywhere. read more
