Cue the "William Tell Overture!" This place to get gas and snacks along the southwest corner of I-37 and 59 in Mathis is a decent place to fill up. There's a nice mural of horses running amok on the front of the place. The merchandise is split between overpriced drinks and snacks, and supplies for truckers. Need a new antenna on your CB? They'll sell you one. I think they even have the mudflaps with silhouettes of naked ladies on them! The restrooms here are generally acceptably clean. They seem to clean them often, and take some pride in the periodic cleanings. It's not easy to access this place, it's on the wrong side of the highway from where I'm always going. At least the drinks are cold, and there's a shaded area to get gas. read more

They have the most awesome mural on their outside wall, and the store inside has a lot of stuff. The store is clean, the employees are friendly - and the bathroom is WAY better than the one at the gas station across the street. It was clean and wasn't all funkified like the other one in this area. My advice is to stop here for bathroom breaks. read more

Bathrooms had no toilet paper or paper towels. Just dirty, that's about it. Store pretty well stocked but no different than all the other gas stations on this exit, nothing outside or inside gets cleaned. Price of gas was more expensive by quite a bit, we thought it may be cleaner.... No luck here read more

They are a good store, but the staff is racist. Just went in there for some snacks before my fiance and I hit the road. We got 1 Pop tart and a drink and the manager charged us double. We tried responding with the woman, but she said there was no mistake. We were also in there for our gas receipt and the lady said we couldn't have it. She even gave a dismissal look toward my fiance (she is Hispanic and I am white) this is some B.S. I will never go to that gas station again due to that staff. We tried to use our food stamps to pay for some food and the cashier asked us for the PIN and we asked to put the PIN in ourselves and she wouldn't let us enter it ourselves and kept making excuses why we couldn't input it in ourselves and said they weren't allowed to let customers input the PIN. This business hires scammers. Don't spend your money here... read more

As a new person in town I was not familiar with any people or places. The wonderful staff here is always so friendly and helpful. They go above and beyond their job requirements and are always wearing a smile. read more

Ummmm disgusting! The woman's restroom smell like pee and they look like they hadn't been attended to in years. They apparently are remodeling so they don't have crap to buy...pee on the side of road and eat grass...it's better than stopping here. read more

Stop in and got fuel but really wanted a subway sandwich the girl never even said hi or anything she walked by three times as she was cleaning turn started putting bread away never even looking at me. I just left don't want someone who is not happy with their job making my sandwich anyway. read more
