I can not say enough great things about this practice! I took my daughter here about a year and…read morehalf ago after multiple experiences at our regular dentist where she had full meltdowns and was terrified. After 1 visit here, my daughter LOVES the dentist. Every hygienist has been great, kind and are always giving positive reinforcement. The dentist himself has been so thorough and explains everything to us in a way we understand. At the end of the visit, they get a token to select a prize, something my daughter looks forward to. I recommend this practice everyone!

So I looked into local pediatric dentist and this one seemed good. we went in with our family dentist care plan and the tooth that needed the fillling. they insisted that they needed to asses her themselves and since our insurance was going to cover it I said okay. They then proceeded to tell me that my daughter needed 6 fillings and 3 crown!!!! Again we see our family dentist every 6 months and get yearly xrays done. I felt completely overwhelmed when we left after the initial visit but knowing we needed the one tooth filled i agreed to a slow treatment plan with the first vist tackling the original tooth we went in for and one crown. They contacted my insurance and gave me our cost for everything. I then had my daughters new X-rays sent to our regular dentist since we had cleanings in just a few weeks. After the initial visit with Clarkston pediatric dentistry filling the original tooth we went in for our cleanings with our family dentist he took a look at her X-rays and said do not let them do anymore crowns since those teeth were baby teeth and not long for this wold. I felt horrible that I put my daughter through all that and almost let them give her a moth full of metal. Since then 2 of those teeth are very near falling out and one is already out. they also charged me more after I canceled the remaining appointments which were several weeks out. this was on top of the original payment I made and what my insurance paid. I see though that they are doing away with delta dental because they can not agree on prices and what they should charge for services. In my opinion this place is strictly in it for the money they will fill fill fill any tooth to get paid. Please be careful and get a second opinion if you get told a ridiculous amount of work that needs to be done on your child's mouth.

After several phone calls and follow-ups it became obvious that they do not want to repair Dr. Delaney's bad dental works on my 4 years old. Plus he has a bad bedside manner which left her Very traumatized. Wish we listened to the bad reviews they have and those they had in the past years which had been deleted. Pls. RUN! Hope no one would go through like what we had in this office. A lot of headache and money to fix their mistakes!

Over the past ten years using Yelp, I've never given a poor review. I wish I could give "Dr."…read moreDelaney less than one star. My son (4 at the time, 7 now) was scared, and cried the first time visiting here. This wasn't a problem, in fact I expected it. What I didn't expect was having the "Dr." mock my son for being upset and becoming obviously frustrated for the delay this caused. Rather than reassure my son that everything would be fine, and show patience to my child, he had my son STRAPPED DOWN to the chair, pinning his arms down with a large, blue Velcro straight jacket. I was sitting next to him, and will never forget the terror in his face, or the panic in his little voice. We never went back. Now at age 7, my son still recalls this event with great detail...traumatized. Luckily, we found a great pediatric dentist that is amazing with his patients (see my other reviews for his name, as this review is about something else). Today, my son had his first stress-free visit, and I told him we could write a review for his new Dr. as well as this guy. Please, read the Google reviews of "Dr." Delaney before you choose to trust him with your child. I wish I had.

Dr Golnick doesn't care about his patients. My 13 yo son was a patient of this dental practice for…read moremany years. He has decided to only be in network with only one insurance company, meaning everyone that doesn't use that carrier has to pay out of pocket, and pay significantly more for the same services we have always received. Where my son's checkups didn't have any cost to me previously, they now have significant cost. And any work he may need in the future would cost much more. They began to make this change several years ago but then went back to taking my BCBS insurance in network. I spent a lot of time shopping for something they would accept, which just ended up being a waste of time. And now they have done it again. When I asked the staff why, the answer is that "Dr Jason has chosen to do this" without a single further word of explanation. The clear reason he is doing it: MONEY. He doesn't care that patients will leave. He's more considered about the ins and outs of insurance processing than he is about the well being of his patients. When I was old enough to have my own insurance coverage, I tried other places closer to home, but I've always come back. I've returned to this office after years of not having any dental work done, and realized the ownership change and all my previous dental hygenists have retired. I'm now seeing Dr. Rollins. I had a chipped central incisor (lower front tooth) and he did a quick repair on it. The work he did was absolutely perfect. It was so good, that the next time I was in their office, he wasn't sure which tooth he had repaired just by looking at my teeth! :) I'm really glad I decided to give this office another try under their new ownership. It's every bit as good as it was before, dare I say even better because I don't feel like this office is only out to make money. Years ago, the previous dentists decided I needed to have work done on all my rear molars and after all the sealant has fallen out or worn down, I have deep crevices that are somewhat bothersome, mainly because in hindsight, I don't believe I should have ever had that work done but I was too young to know that there was an option to decline. I was still in K-12 school at the time. I don't believe Dr. Rollins would even attempt to suggest that I have work done that I don't need. In fact, I asked about an area of concern in one of my teeth and he thought it would be better if we wait, because the work he would have had to do, would have done more damage than the wear and tear that I already have on that tooth. Love it!! IDEA: If you have sensitive gums, be sure you ask about using gas. They are skilled at administering gas which can take the edge off the pain if you're sensitive. I don't have to use gas for my cleanings, but I always ask for it if they're going to drill and it works! It wore off quickly for me, once they turned it off and I was able to drive without noticing any difference in how I felt before I arrived versus when I left the office after having gas administered.
