This could be the most unethical law firm I've ever done business with. There isn't an honest attorney there. They will bilk you dry with NO results. They will assign your case to the lowest attorney in the firm. They handled our case for 8 months with NO results and a bill near $100,000.00 that I had to contact the California Bar association to get in down to a reasonable payment of only $40,000. BTW none of their work moved our case forward. Got results, a settlement in a few months with another firm for over $1,000,000. Stay away from them and don't believe their PR hype. read more

Our experience with RMO Lawyers has been one of the most discouraging and disheartening experiences of our lives. From the very first call, we were transparent and gave every single detail of our case so the firm could determine whether they would take us on. We were told our case was promising and that they would represent us, and based on that assurance, we moved forward. We paid a $25,000 retainer in good faith during one of the hardest times in our lives. After we began working with them, we continued to provide even more documents and sensitive personal information. Only then did they suddenly tell us that, based on what we had just given them, our case was not strong and did not appear to be in our favor. This was incredibly upsetting because all of that information had already been disclosed in detail before the retainer was paid. They knew these facts upfront, yet still accepted the $25,000. What followed was mortifying. After receiving little to no meaningful support, we were forced to fight to recover our funds. It took multiple calls and persistent follow-up to finally get $19,700 of the retainer returned. However, $5,300 was kept by them--and we are absolutely mortified that over five thousand dollars has now been taken away. The initial call is supposed to be the time when a law firm evaluates whether a case has merit. Instead, it felt like RMO used that call as bait, making us believe we had a strong case only to take a substantial retainer and deliver almost nothing in return. From our perspective, this is less about advocacy and more about making quick money. At a time when we needed honesty, integrity, and guidance, we were met with the opposite. No family should ever have to go through what we did. I would highly advise staying away from this law firm altogether. read more

Excellent - nothing short of amazing! I'm an attorney myself but I certainly do not practice in the probate litigation field - I reached out to them for one of my cases that had a probate crossover (even though I was defending a client in an employment defense case) and they were quick to respond and answer all my questions. Dealing with Intake "Marsella" is the most unpleasant experience I've ever had! I have worked as a paralegal for 50 plus years! Her behavior and lack of kindness and compassion is unbelievable! She is an example of how this firm unfairly treats survivors of greedy family members who are attempting to seek fairness and justice. Marsella is not a licensed attorney. She is tasked with filling out a "very complex form". The law firm I work for would be horrified if I treated our clients like this woman treated me! By the way the videos are educational and helpful. It's too bad Marsella is turning away legitimate legal matters the nature of which requires a licensed attorney to assess. The only services I received as the privilege of releasing personal information and then being told point blank this is a large firm who cannot take my case! The assistant Karen was beyond helpful in writing down all my notes about my case to make sure she passed along the information to the attorney I would be consulting with. She quickly set up an appointment with attorney Sean who was extremely helpful in guiding me towards what next steps he would take if I decided to move forward with him. I appreciated how knowledgeable he was and how honest he was about the fees his firm would have to collect if I decided to move forward. Unfortunately a 25k retainer fee was beyond what I could afford at the moment as I just closed in escrow. I am rating them a 4 not due to to their attentiveness but because they were definitely on the higher spectrum of retainer fees.
