I would recommend them to anyone. I see they have not so great reviews in the past which is interesting because it's opposite of my experience. Dr Demario has been so amazing. They must have worked out the kinks because it's a great clinic!

Well, since University of Minnesota Reproductive Center in Riverview just announced it is closing…read moretheir doors forever (effective May 2015), I thought people should be aware of what their options are in the Twin Cities. When in doubt, follow the reviews... because they are often spot on. I've been hesitant to write a review, as this is obviously a very delicate, sensitive, personal experience, right? Well, last year, I went to the Center for Reproductive Medicine - St. Paul location, and I definitely would NOT recommend it. While I had a decent experience with Dr. Malo (despite his gruff, matter-of-pack personality), I HATED the front desk staff. After a few visits, I changed to University of Minnesota's Reproductive Center. First, when I walked into their office (conveniently located in Inver Grove with lots of ample parking), all I could notice was the disgusting smell of the office. It reeked of old Indian spicy food mixed with stagnant, disgusting body odor. Dude, I thought pregnant women had a more sensitive sense of smell, right? How in the world are you all tolerating this disgusting odor (ever single time I walk in!). The only place that smells good in this office? The bathroom - because there are air fresheners in there. Next, the front desk staff. The one mid-20's blond female that I consistently had at the front desk was an insensitive, unempathatic b*@(). In fact, I'm hoping karma hits her with infertility years to come. When you go through fertility treatment, you need frequent ultrasounds, blood tests, etc. Trying to fit that into a normal working schedule of 8-5 is very difficult, and scheduling with her while you're going through sensitive, delicate time was trying. In fact, being in the customer service, health field myself, I'd fire her if she was my employee. But hey, I believe in good customer service. The nurses: they were great. I only had two (one was Amy), and they were sensitive, sweet, and compassionate. But you know what, the front desk staff turned me away. Avoid this St. Paul location unless you want cold-hearted staff helping you. Sadly, the U's repro center closing dramatically reduces the options in the Twin Cities now - they had AMAZING front desk staff, nurses, etc. This place fails in comparison. Good luck on your journey. Hang in there. And blow off this place.

He is incredibly knowledgeable. I would recommend not putting around with fertility testing with just anyone. He is a reproductive endocrinologist. I work in the medical field, and I feel really good about his care and the quality of his staff.

I cannot recommend CCRM Minneapolis or Dr. Kohlmier based on my experience…read more After two IVF retrieval cycles, I was left feeling that my care was poorly managed from beginning to end. Throughout my treatment, I experienced repeated mismanagement, inconsistent communication, and recommendations that, in hindsight, should never have been made. On two separate occasions, I was encouraged to proceed with treatment despite test results that should have prompted a serious discussion about canceling the cycle rather than moving forward. Instead of providing thoughtful, individualized medical guidance, I felt pressured to continue treatment, resulting in significant emotional, physical, and financial costs with extremely poor outcomes. My first retrieval resulted in four mature eggs, but none developed beyond fertilization. After that disappointing outcome, I was told my treatment protocol would be revised to improve my chances during a second cycle. However, during my second retrieval cycle, my treatment plan was changed at the last minute from what had been discussed with my physician. The change appeared to be made to avoid delaying treatment another month, despite the fact that postponing the cycle would have been the more appropriate course of action. I was not given the opportunity to make a fully informed decision regarding the revised plan, and I believe that decision negatively impacted my outcome. Before my retrieval, I was repeatedly told to expect two eggs. When I was instructed to administer my trigger shot, the nurse assured me that I would have two eggs and explained that the trigger would slow the maturation of the larger follicle so it could still be retrieved. Instead, only one egg was retrieved, and it did not fertilize. I was later told that one follicle had become overmature and that the other egg was difficult to retrieve. This was especially upsetting because I had specifically relied on the guidance that proceeding with the trigger and retrieval would still result in two retrievable eggs. After investing so much hope, time, money, and trust into this process, it was devastating to experience another unsuccessful cycle under circumstances that I believe could have been handled differently. I wish the clinic had recommended canceling or postponing the cycle rather than encouraging me to proceed simply to avoid losing another month. Communication throughout my care was consistently inadequate. Information provided by nurses often conflicted with discussions I had with my physician, leaving me uncertain about my treatment plan and without confidence that my care team was aligned. As a patient navigating an already stressful process, clear and consistent communication is essential, and unfortunately, that was not my experience. Following my unsuccessful cycles, I submitted a formal complaint in hopes that my concerns would be taken seriously. Instead, my concerns were escalated to administration but ultimately ignored. My attempts to continue the conversation went unanswered, and I was even prevented from replying to one of their messages through the patient portal. Rather than acknowledging what had occurred, addressing my concerns, or making any meaningful effort to rectify the situation, they chose to end the conversation without accountability. Fertility treatment requires an extraordinary amount of trust. Patients deserve individualized medical judgment, transparent communication, and a clinic that is willing to take responsibility when concerns are raised. Unfortunately, my experience with CCRM Minneapolis fell far short of those expectations. Looking back, I wish I had sought care elsewhere much sooner.

I'm starting my first IUI procedure and have been impressed with how quickly we were able to get started. I'm working with Dr. Damario and I was ready to jump right in with IVF, but he said it would be best to start with IUI or even fertility drugs and natural conception methods first. Definitely NOT pushing IVF. The nurses and support staff have been very professional and helpful. I went to the UMN office before it closed in 2015 and I would say CRM is very comparative. It's exactly what I would expect from a fertility clinic. I will update my review when my procedure is complete.

Our experience with Advanced Reproductive Technologies was devastating…read more My husband and I entrusted Advanced Reproductive Technologies in Minneapolis with five vials of reproductive material after he had fought to regain sperm production following treatment for stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. After chemotherapy, he had been diagnosed with azoospermia. Through additional treatment, he was eventually able to produce sperm again, giving us a chance to have a biological child together. We entered into a 120-day short-term storage agreement with ART, with an agreed-upon discard date of May 29, 2021. On May 13, 2021, nearly two weeks before the end of that storage period, all five vials were destroyed. The destruction date had been "miscalculated" and was signed off on by two ART lab personnel. The error was characterized in the legal proceedings as "human error." Two days later, we needed the stored material for another fertility attempt. That is when we learned that it had already been destroyed. Those five vials represented our chance at having a biological child together. They weren't something that could simply be replaced. They were the result of my husband's fight to regain his fertility after cancer, and to us, they represented hope. We trusted ART with something incredibly important. We did what we were supposed to do. We paid to have the material preserved, entered into a storage agreement, and relied on the agreed-upon storage period. Yet nearly two weeks before that period ended, our five vials were destroyed. We cannot change what happened to our family. We cannot get those five vials back. But we can share our experience and hopefully encourage other fertility patients to ask detailed questions about how their reproductive material is stored and protected, how destruction dates are calculated and verified, how patients are notified, and what safeguards are in place to prevent something like this from happening. For us, those five vials represented hope after cancer. We trusted ART to protect that hope. And that hope was lost when our five vials were destroyed nearly two weeks before the agreed-upon date. I am sharing this review because I believe patients deserve to understand our experience before entrusting ART with something that may be irreplaceable.

I enjoyed my experiences with all of the doctors and PA's that I worked with especially Dr. Jordi. I am saddened that I will no longer continue my care with this practice and that I wont get to deliver with Dr. Jordi or any other provider that I trusted. It is scary being pregnant and working with a great doctor for so many years and then having to make a change. I am currently pregnant with my first child and going through some abnormal symptoms that I find concerning. I called my care team and let the nurse know of my concerns in hopes that they would get me in to check my vitals and baby. Instead I was met with comments like I need to go to the ER or see a Neurologist... I was very taken back as my symptoms were not emergent. I have been seen for so many years with this team and they had no interest in getting me in and checking my blood pressure or any other simple tests to see if that may be the problem to my symptoms. I called back again in the afternoon to advocate for myself and try to get in with my OBGYN to ensure my baby and myself are healthy. The nurse was extremely dismissive and wouldn't let me get more than two words in. As a first time pregnant women I began to feel emotional and scared as it was clear they they did not care about me or my baby and were not going to help me. I have never been spoken to so poorly or ignored by a nurse more in my life. The nurse also stated that "they do not have any same day appointments" and they "wouldn't be able to give me the care that I needed if I needed fluids"... Maybe if they got me into the clinic they could see what I actually needed and didn't need and then go from there?.. As a frightened first time mom I would hope that my care team would be eager to get me in to check on me and my baby. I called a different OBGYN facility and explained the same symptoms to their team and they scheduled to get me in immediately due to their concerns with my symptoms. I HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere if you feel you are not getting taken seriously by the nurses. Always advocate for yourself and find a team that listens and cares about your wellbeing! I hope other first time moms do not have to experience what I did.

What an incredible experience…read more When I went in for my consultation with Dr. Eileen Zhuo and her assistant, I wasn't even healthily skeptical of Chinese medicine, non-Western practices and acupuncture. I was convinced they didn't work at all. But I also felt like I had nothing to lose. I'd been suffering from severe, two-week-long PMS that basically left me incapacitated, chronically lethargic and sick - for half my life. My period cramps were even worse. I was taking approximately 5-12 Advils a day (200 mg/pill) for several days to combat the cramps, assuring the eventual destruction of my liver. I was prescribed Ketoralac for pain management by my ob/gyn, a medication with a black box warning. Within two weeks of starting acupuncture and taking both kinds of herbs that Zhuo recommended, I was on the mend. The first period after starting acupuncture was without cramps entirely. So was the second. And the third. My PMS started to lift. Or rather, it shifted from severe to mild. Even my intense food cravings disappeared. But oddly, other changes started occurring that nobody at the clinic warned me about. For instance, I now have this incredible, formidable bodily and mental energy that I've never had in my life. Apparently, I'm producing more chi because I'm regaining my health. I have so much energy that I often don't know how to channel it. And my insomnia is practically gone. I always have been a night owl, often taking more than two hours from the time my head hits the pillow to fall asleep. After three months of treatment, I'm sleeping within 15 minutes of laying down, sometimes less. I've never felt more alive or more in control of my life. Not only has this experience changed my mind about non-allopathic healing and Chinese medicine, but it's changed every aspect of everything I do.

I drove by a few times not realizing why I was at the liquor store, until I phoned Kenisha. Ambiance: The ambiance felt peaceful and inviting. Upon entering, you are in a lobby lite with candles. The decor provides mood. There's a dark curtain, providing privacy to your encounter with relaxation. Adjacent to the curtain is the counter, where you are checked in at arrival and pay upon leaving. Service: She's very good at what she does. She was observant and attentive to my body. She asked questions re: the type of massage I prefer and anything my body had gone through recently. She found balance in what I stated I like and what I actually needed and executed everything exquisitely. She drained my lymph nodes, stretched me and massaged me. She was professional in her technique in getting through the tightness in my shoulders without causing me too much hurt the days to follow, which I found amazing. I have had nothing but good experiences here with the staff and nurses. No issues with making appointments, and lab tests have all been handled timely and easily. I'm a tough stick for blood draws and haven't had issues with lab techs not being able to draw blood. I ADORE my OB at this practice, Dr. Margaret Enadeghe. She is the first OB I've had who's taken the time to listen and respond to every single one of my and my partner's questions. Even when I nervously ask the same question multiple times over several visits! We are never rushed, however long she needs to spend with us to make us feel comfortable and informed, she does. She's a lovely person and a new mom herself, and happy to share her experiences tackling motherhood, which I've really appreciated as I'm becoming a first-time mom as well. Also, for folks who have ED/body dysmorphia issues, Dr. Enadeghe is incredibly sympathetic. I have disordered eating and was really worried I'd be tempted to restrict calories because of pregnancy weight gain. Thankfully, Dr. Enadeghe told me there was no need for me to even LOOK at the scale when they weighed me. She said she would inform me if anything was out of the ordinary, and assured me that the number on the scale wasn't a concern. This approach really helped me and made me much less anxious about my body's changes during pregnancy. I also really like the policies put in place by the clinic. I think they try to stay on top of current academic research and are consistently changing their protocols, instead of just sticking with antiquated methods. Quick example: I'm a research junkie and learned there's relatively new data that states it can be beneficial to the newborn to delay cord cutting after birth. This helps with hemoglobin levels and a bunch of other stuff. I asked Dr. Enadeghe about this and she said it was standard policy for the clinic to delay cord cutting.
