The customer service here is the worst I've ever experienced. To get a lab request faxed, it…read morerequired 8 phone calls on my part, a portal message to my provider, and a website message. The portal and website messages were never returned. A voicemail left for the triage department was not returned for 2 1/2 days. Because of the lack of follow-through by this clinic, they made me reschedule my appointment with my provider, and my provider did not have any openings for over a month. When the rescheduled appointment finally came around, I sat in the virtual waiting room for 45 minutes. The provider, Ilana Farb, never showed up for my appointment. I was extremely upset, called the clinic to report my missing provider, and couldn't report it to anyone because no one answered the phone. The automated system left me on hold for 15 minutes before I hung up. I called again, chose the triage nurse option, and left a voicemail reporting the issue. I said I expected a call back that day. The call never came. The next day I repeatedly called to reach someone, anyone. I was finally connected with a person, who arranged for my provider to call me on her lunch hour. I explained to my provider, Ilana Farb, that it was difficult to trust her care when she doesn't respond to her messages and the clinic provides such poor customer service. She then argued with me and told me I didn't send her a portal message, said I needed to talk with the clinic manager about the customer service issues, and she just wanted to discuss medical issues. She didn't seem to understand that the quality of medical care is unable to be separated from the customer service issues and that the stress of this experience is likely having a massive effect on my hormones. She also did not apologize for not showing up to my appointment the day before. I terminated my medical care with her during this phone call. She ended the call by saying the clinic manager would still call me the next day. Unsurprisingly, the clinic manager did not call. I only wish I had read other reviews before I began with this clinic. Clearly I am not the only person who has received this treatment. Many other patients have reported these same problems and yet this clinic continues to put patients through this. This is very suprising and ironic treatment from a clinic whose mission is creating "a warm and welcoming environment, one in which we can provide the absolute best care available with a focus on your unique needs. We partner with you in your healthcare decisions by listening and responding to your individual concerns." The treatment I received was the exact opposite of this mission statement. I will be filing a complaint with the Minnesota Department of Health. This kind of patient treatment is unacceptable.

Friendly on the surface and poor follow-up and communications…read more (1) On my very first visit, the medical assistant (Stacey Cerar) and the doctor (Phoebe Leonard) jumped onto IVF right away, which offers the biggest profit margin for them and no coverage of my insurance. Any responsible medical professional should go through basic treatments first and other low cost options, before resorting to IVF. Obviously, they don't really care about patients, other than making profits! (2) It is almost impossible to get a call from them, even they said they would call after test results came in. I have been pursuing a phone call from Stacey (medical assistant) to interpret my lab results for more than a week, still no call, but referred to another appointment with Dr for just test results interpretation!! Sure, another $400 appointment to just tell why TSH is high. If it has taken me so much out of my busy day to just chase a phone call, which I should have received a week ago anyway, I would say the service here is absolutely horrible! Imagine to deal with such poor communication and careless people, when we go through emotional stress trying to conceive.

Dr. Matthew Palmer is my primary at the clinic and after 12 years of poor treatment from another well-known clinic in the Twin Cities Dr. Palmer diagnosed me with stage 3 endometriosis and completed a comprehensive laparoscopic excision surgery. He is a true surgical genius and recognized nationally for his training and expertise in endo and excision. I have referred several patients to seek his care and everyone has left feeling "heard" for the first time in their lives. My husband and our families enjoy his soft spoken, kind and sensitive approach. I have never met a doctor who listens the way Dr. Palmer does. I also think a very unique feature of this clinic is their "team" approach to your care. Dr. Palmer is the endo/excision specialist but when we were facing infertility he referred us to Dr. McEvoy at the clinic who is the resident "fertility expert." I found this approach incredibly refreshing and it proved once more that Dr. Palmer is focused on providing the best patient care NOT his ego. Like any business I've had a couple bumps with trying to schedule things or a receptionist who may have been having a bad day, but the care here is second to none and we are all human. I'm there so often many of the nurses say hello by name and they truly make me feel at home no matter which location I visit.

She always made sure to leave out extra wintergreen mints for me. It's a super nice office. Front desk staff made sure I saw every single available dr incase something happened and I needed to see one of the other Dr's when I went into labor. I thought that was really sweet. They wanted to make sure I was completely comfortable with all the staff. I never had a "smear" before and Raidun was spoon gentle and coaxed me into trusting her and we clicked really well. I couldn't think of any better team than adefris! The level of care I received from the time I found out I was pregnant to the time it came for my emergency c section, I couldn't of had a better experience from Dr. Boeke and Dr. Crepeau. Dr. Boeke was so sweet from every prenatal visit to the final visit of my induction. He wanted to be the one to deliver my son and it so happened to work out that way. When it was time for the dr to come in during labor he grabbed my leg and rubbed it, just reassuring me that everything was going to be ok. And I couldn't thank him enough for that, especially as a first time mom. When it came to my last visit, I actually had tears in my eyes that I wouldn't be seeing him anymore. I had never met such an understanding and compassionate Dr before. I was on a specific medication and they worked with me talking to my prescribing clinic when I was having issues with them upping my dose due to my pregnancy. He always reassured me I was doing just fine and that I'd be a good mother and I really appreciated all the talks he, I and my husband had from start to finish. Needless to say if I have more, I'll be seeing these guys. I love them so much. They're an amazing woman's clinic.

Listens carefully and responds immediately to concerns. She made me feel comfortable and never like I was just another appointment in her day. I had been looking for a physician that made me feel she cares, and I just found Dr. Shakerin. Now I understand why it is so hard to get an appointment with her, so worth it. Her nurse was very friendly as well. The appointment line staff are not as friendly, but not rude either.
