I have been working…read morewith her over the last couple weeks to set up her photography of two of Mrs. K.'s and my best friends' vow renewal ceremony (10 years!). Based on our friends coming from Portland, Mrs. K. and I coming from Bay City, an inability to check in to our B&B prior to the vow renewal ceremony and taking a while to figure out where we actually wanted it to happen, the plans over the last couple weeks have been what can kindly be described as "in flux." Doreen was super chill throughout, willing to work around our schedule and offering some suggestions about locations, timing, etc. To add insult to injury, the afternoon of the ceremony, our friends got in an accident just while leaving Portland (talk about drama), and so we had to reschedule the timing at the last minute. Again, Doreen was incredibly accommodating and worked around our timing issues and was able to get everything we wanted done completed within the time constraints that circumstances had imposed. She was fun (and funny) to work with and although I haven't seen the (photographic) results yet, based on her portfolio and what Mrs. K. observed on the screen of her camera while she was shooting, I have no doubt that the pictures will live up to her great and friendly service and demeanor. He was an absolute joy to work with and was really just so much fun! He made us laugh, kept up with the timeline, utilized the lighting and landscape and just kept things flowing really smoothly. There's pretty much one for every season and I've done the fall one in North Ridge and the winter one in Sherwood and gotten stunning photos every time. I was introduced to Jess through a wedding venue and from there saw her work for the Oregon Dog Rescue at the annual Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. After liking posting after posting of her images of smiling dogs among the colorful flowers, I knew I wanted her to photograph my dogs as well. I procrastinated until I saw a post that one of the senior dogs she'd photographed passed away just a few days after the images had been delivered to the client. Having an ancient dog myself, I knew I couldn't wait and scheduled our Fuzzy Butt session. Plans to have the dogs groomed prior to our appointment were scrapped when my old dog started to have sleepless nights pacing the room. I contacted Jess to see if we could move up the session and she agreed to come to our house the very next day. Don't worry, a week later and Willow is doing very well now, but I'm so excited to have these photos! Jess is professional, but fun and genuinely loves animals, so with my 3 dogs running all over, she just clicked away and got some amazing candid shots. So if you have a pet you love and don't have any printed photos, I HIGHLY recommend Fuzzy Butt Pet Photography. Jess offers several levels of pricing and affordable prints prices. My advice?
