When I pointed out the problem your answer was that your tools couldn't make the bends and you said, "won't this work?" I explained it was a matter of structural integrity and the extra bend was necessary. Don't know why, Tustin, after hard work, long hours and hundreds of customers you couldn't just tell me at the beginning that your tools won't make the proper bends in a piece of sheet metal. None of this would be happening now! Then, in regard to the second piece I requested; on the day I came to pick up the parts you said the sheet aluminum won't fit in your bender. I gave you dimensions. Why didn't you tell me at the start it wouldn't fit? Easy! By the way, what's wrong with scrap metals? Same one's you wanted to use only yours were brand new. Too expensive! Happy to pay for the labor, didn't need the new materials. You didn't have to take the job! And one more thing; the big difference, "they" served, not you! Does your entire family of former and active military know you are disrespecting their service and our great country in the improper display of our American flag in your shop? Once again, you just don't get it! Stop lying and take the scolding like a man and just do better in the future. Good luck in your failing business. How long do you expect your new fence to last?…read more 30 years? 20 years? 10 years? 5 years? Then JD Fence is probably not the right company for you. We hired them to replace our 35 year old fence in November 2021. The job was completed on schedule and we had no issues initially. Then after a couple years we started to notice some warping, separation, and cracking (see attached photos). We weren't very happy about this, but did not contact JD Fence. Then, recently we noticed that one 45 foot section of the fence is completely wobbly and in danger of falling down due to rotted posts. So after a mere 4+ years, the fence is in worse condition than the 35 year old fence it replaced. At this point we of course did contact JD Fence, and reported the problem to the receptionist. She said she would have someone contact us. A week went by and we heard nothing, so we called again. At this point we were told that a company representative would come out a few days later and have a look. One of the owners came out and look at the situation. I showed him the very wobbly fence. At first he was hemming and hawing, mumbling, and scratching his head. Then suddenly he asked if my neighbors are over-watering their landscaping. I have no evidence of that, and told him so. I asked if the treated posts are not waterproof. His response to that was to blame environmentalists for poor quality treated lumber. So, a bunch of excuses, and no sympathy or solutions. He then left, but assured me that the company would call back to further discuss. Of course, nobody ever called back. So after another week, I called back again. I was put in touch with the same guy who had come out to do the inspection. He was very defensive again, saying they did the job right, the neighbor is probably over watering, and the tree huggers ruined the treated lumber. These are literally the excuses he used. At no point did he offer any sort of remedy other than for us to have the job redone correctly completely at our expense, possibly using metal fence posts instead of treated wood 4x4's. I asked him why nobody had called back after being promised a follow-up call. More pathetic excuses such as "maybe the paperwork got buried". Nothing serious, and at no point did he apologize or take responsibility for anything. I unfortunately did not ask him why they knowingly install posts that are likely to rot in just a few years, and why this information is not disclosed to customers. To summarize, this experience exposed poor communication, failure to follow up as promised, a total lack of care or concern for the customer, and an absolute unwillingness to back their products and service. Hire this company at your own risk. These are the facts. I expect a rebuttal to this review from JD Fence, and I look forward to seeing what feeble excuses, alibis, and explanations they come up with. Should make for some entertaining reading...

They got us on their schedule and the work was done in a timely manner. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up after the job was done. We love our fence and our gate and I can't thank them enough for fantastic job. We had great communication from Debbie in the office to John the owner to the work men that came out. We will definitely hire them again for any fence work on our property.
