I had the privilege to live here for a little over a year while I completed rotations at various…read morehospitals in the area. From my first visit to the final day, I absolutely loved this complex. I rented a "studio" or Jr One Bedroom as it may be listed online. Living alone, this was all I needed to feel comfortable and still have some space to spare. The studio style is very open with the living room and kitchen combined and an open-top wall separating the bedroom. The huge walk in closet was perfect for storage of clothes and other oddities. All of the appliances were state of the art and honestly a joy to use. My apartment was ground level facing the baseball field. I'm sure all other apartments boast beautiful views as well. My only caution about renting one facing the Dash ball field would be noise. While games can get noisy over the loudspeaker, even out of season there are many events across the street that play music nearly daily and into the night. At the same time, you can't beat the gorgeous view of fireworks out the massive living room window after a Friday night game. The rest of the complex is just as high-quality. The pool, exercise room, business center, and common areas are vibrant and welcoming. I would tend to watch big sporting events on the large HD tv in the common area. The poolside grills are also a very nice amenity and a treat for guests go experience. The office management at Link completed my enjoyable experience. Mike was a tremendous help in getting everything squared away when I moved in, as well as available to answer any questions throughout my stay. Lisa also was very helpful. I did have one instance of a leaking closet roof. Maintenance was contacted who quickly came and fixed the problem. While the leak was fixed, maintenance took a decent amount of time to install a new ceiling piece. I kept this as a 5 star review vs 4 solely because Lisa was adamant about getting this fixed. I had mentioned that maintenance had been great at solving the leak, but part of my closet was unusable until a new ceiling was replaced. Lisa was great in contacting maintenance to completely finish the project and very kind throughout the process. I looked at a handful of places when I moved to WS. There are a lot that have more affordable pricing, but the quality of Link definitely exceeds the rental price. I would recommend at least touring Link apartments before making a final decision in your move.

It is also only about a 10 minute walk to the light rail, but when you live here why would you want to leave? The complex has grills in all of the courtyards so you shouldn't ever have to wait on a grill if your in the mood for grilling. The gym is state of the art with every piece of equipment you could imagine. The amenities here are second to none. The rent is unbelievably cheap compared to places nearby. I also like that it is really quite here and there doesn't seem to be a bunch of partying going on. The leasing staff is super friendly and they always remember my name which is nice. We also have community get-togethers around twice a month which is nice as well. I highly highly recommend this place if your looking for a new apartment to live in.

Even after we moved out, we are still waiting almost a month later to get nearly $1000 that they fraudulently drafted from our checking account. EDIT: They certainly do not have the capacity to draft money independent of a resident's direction. However, be aware that if you select automatic payment of your CURRENT BALANCE, the system can draft multiple times your balance in the event of a prorated payment. Further, it will likely take weeks for your money to be returned, and the staff will (as you can see) blame you and your "confusion" for not cancelling a recurring payment, incorrect though that assertion may be.

As time passed by my wife and I got to know the entire staff even better. They are people that care about the people and listened to our concerns. We appreciated the hard work that management and maintenance personnel provided. It takes a lot of financial, mental, physical, and social means to keep Brookberry looking as good as it did or does. Any problems we had within our apartment or outside. We could always put in a trouble call ticket online or call the office. Within 24 hours the staff had maintenance crew taking care of the issue. My wife and I really miss living at Brookberry Park, but we purchased a fantastic new home last year. In my opinion, what makes Brookberry Park a fantastic place to live in is the following reasons. 1.) Awesome staff and maintenance personnel display professionalism and fantastic people skills. 2.) The management staff of…read moreMeredith Frye, Maggie Cummings and Karen Little are exceptional ambassadors of this repurposed building. Every detail was not fully completed, but those that were far exceeded our expectations. The apartments with their 23' high ceilings and nearly floor to ceiling windows showcase the floors and original brickwork gave you a feeling of age but with all of the modern conveniences. But my favorite parts of the apartments were the cleanliness of the hallways during the finishing of the construction of the other Apt. units, and the Community get together's, St. Patrick's day, Cinco de Mayo, Football games, and most recently National Doughnut day with duck doughnuts. The staff must just think of interesting things for the residents to do and get them done. Sadly, we are moving out of this wonderful environment and into a new home to us. We will miss the fabulous building and all it's amenities, watching Natty Greene's prepare for the grand opening, the newly opened first class fitness center, the courtyard's grand opening but most especially the people that work and maintain this property. They genuinely care about what they do and what they can do to make your residential life a memorable experience. Had a sewer bill that was so high that know one wanted to do anything about in the 2 1/2 years i paid over 2000 for just the sewer so i had to save so i could finally move and now they are trying to say i still over a 900 bill because they had the meter checked and there was no problem REALLY i dont even know anyone with a sewer bill over 40 a month and mine was 125 plus . This is the worse place to live .!
