Took out the pellet gun and fishing pole and left only balls tees and clubs. I feared this collar only golf club might not dig my redneck golf skills. I have been known to bring home many a dinner after golfing. Bass, rabbit, doves, ducks, at various clubs even got a goose at Rivera back in 93 before they got so uptight. I am an admitted hacker. I play for fun. Beer is an essential golf tool. The more I drink the better I get. I usually load up a 12 pack a side. I once won a trophy for golf with an amazing 20 net. Too bad I was too drunk to remember cracking it in half at the clubs bar celebrating. It proudly sits somewhere glued together in my garage. Mojave Resort Golf Club is a sportsman's paradise. 1st hole a coyote runs across the green. Hell yea I thought game on! But the others in our 5some would not let me golf out of turn for a shot at it. I went 3 over par and lost a ball on this hole. Fuck! Next couple of holes I see rabbits every where, but they're no good in the summer. They got worms in the summer and can make you sick. So I passed on the rabbits and got my drank on. It's hotter than hell in Laughlin 105 degrees at 9 am you need to keep hydrated! The heat was getting to me and I managed to lose a ball or 10 over the next few holes until my buzz kicked in. At this point Tiger ain't got shit on me I was hittin' the crap out of the ball. And luckily for me the sand traps here are like concrete so I was kickin ass. Long drives sweet putts, you know tin cup shit. That was until Bob woke me up from my stupor by running into my golf cart. No worries I saved the cooler! At this point I was suffering a heat stroke and didn't care anymore. I got Intimate with a few of the homes on the course taking out a few roof tiles and spooking a couple of retirees sunbathing in their back yard. I think I finished 20 under or over par depending on who you ask. This is a pretty well maintained desert course. But it a desert course so be prepared with sunscreen and lots of beer. The clubhouse staff were nice and friendly but I'm sure the laughed and said Hi-Five Ass Fucks as we headed to the course. I'll be back, but with proper hunting implementation.

My family and I have been using the pool at Chaparral Golf Club for nearly 20 years. Unfortunately, this year the prices suddenly increased from around $60 per month per family to $400 per person for six months, or a single payment of $600 per family. For many local families, especially single-income households like ours, this is simply unaffordable. What made the situation even more disappointing was the lack of notice and the fact that no payment options were offered. When I called to ask if we could make payments, I was told it was full payment or no access to the pool. It is very sad to see such a drastic change after so many years. Families who have supported and enjoyed this place for decades are now being priced out completely. I hope management will reconsider and offer more reasonable pricing or payment plans so local families and children can continue enjoying the pool during the summer.

We came to Los Lagos on day two after deciding to go with a cheaper option. Let me say, we all have buyers remorse. The round was $75 per person, which is still high for the quality of course. The tee boxes were very difficult to even get a tee in to. The sand traps were hard and compacted and have nearly as much grass as sand. There were dirt patches on the middle of the fairway for no reason. The redeeming quality of the course were the staff. Customer service was excellent throughout, which eased the burden slightly. Do yourself a favor and choose any other course.

Upon arrival, we were met by the cart attendant and starter who was super polite, took care of all of our bags and said the group was in the bar waiting to go off at 10am. The staff in the pro-shop were super friendly and made sure all of our group were taken care of and gave us a price that was surprisingly great for a holiday weekend. I read the previous reviews of Huukan golf course when our friend, who set up our golf outing, told us where we would be playing. The most current review was from the beginning of June and most of the reviews were mostly how poor the conditions were. It appeared that they had done some work on the course but being winter, cold and windy it was not that bad. It looks like they could continue to do work on the fairways and some of the bunkers but the greens were in fantastic shape and rolled very well. I imagine that in the spring, when the weather starts to let things green up that they have the potential to have the course looking really nice. It just appears that they need to fill in the bare spots with more grass and if they continue to give it good water, I think it will change peoples minds about giving it a shot. They let us buy our drinks and take them out on the course with us so I saw no problem with one of the previous reviews. When we completed the round and headed into the bar and grill to wait on the other groups, we were met by a very friendly and attentive bar and grill staff who bent over backwards to serve us. The young lady behind the counter kept coming out and checking our beers, picking up our empties, taking away the dirty plates from the appetizers we ordered and was prompt in bringing us more drinks. Some of the bunkers still needed some trimming and there were large rocks in a few of the bunkers we found but most were in decent shape. I have always been a fan of the Mohave Resort golf course and I think they will get this course in shape to mirror that one. I will definitely come back to play to check on the progress of the course. A few of us play to a single digit index so this is not some review from someone who is just happy to be out on a Saturday. Huukan has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. It's a one way and out street. When confronted Huukan and spoke with the manger Larry all he says is the tribe told him to do it And they will not remove the burn to release the storm water.
