If your loved one is in one of these facilities and needs to go under hospice care, Lifepath is your only option unless you move the loved one home or another facility. Many of the care providers with Lifepath were rude and failed to introduce themselves before they treated or bathed the patient. They did not show kindness or compassion. My loved one was fully mentally with it until his last day and he (and our family) was not pleased with the treatment by the caregivers with Lifepath Hospice. If we had known just how few days our family member had left on this earth, we would have brought him home with one of the highly recommended hospice companies in this area.

Medicare is dicated by the government and designates the number of staff per resident or patient. One must wait their turn unless in an emergency. Even if it is not within a staff members job, if need arises there seems to be no hesitation to help. There was at no time a negative odor which is frequently battled at many LTC facilities. Dietary was nutrious, although I had no appetite as I was post-op. Friday was most peoples favorite: per choice either baked or fried fish. On Halloween the staff went all out. whenever there was a concern by me or my family, the administration investigated and resolve the question. I was met with patience and compassion. And therapy was exceptional.

They over drugged her to keep her in one space because she has dementia and they didn't have the staff to deal with her. There are no nurses to be found and the CNA's sprinkled around frankly just don't care. When I dropped my mom off, she was walking, talking, feeding herself and going to the bathroom - when I picked her up five days later she could do none of what I just listed and was basically in a comatose state. She stunk, was in dirty clothes, a diaper, and could not even hold her head up nor open her eyes. She had tremors and was bruised from her head to her feet. The clothes I left folded in her drawers, were still exactly how they were five days prior. If I would've left my mother longer, they would've killed her for sure. When I found her in the state I just described, I was of course, absolutely appalled, and when talking to management, with my mom sitting, stinking, physically defunct in a wheelchair - they had no excuse, words or recourse for their delinquency and unfit conditions. They present as if they are an upscale provider but at the end of the day you can cover poo in roses, but it's still going to stink.

The front of the house staff needs a lot of work. They are not friendly and act like they could care less. If you ask them a question, they have no clue. Every single person in the office was incredibly professional, kind and patient. Dr. Rainwater explained that when you are ill, you will be seen. I called for a new patient appointment and actually got in within two days. There aren't enough words to describe what an incredible experience it was in his office!
