Excellent hospital! They were fat and extremely friendly, not to mention knowledgeable. Even the nurses were knowledgeable! All staff members were informative and patient as well as happy to discuss things and answer questions. They were also thorough and made sure to cover everything. We didn't have to wait forever for things to get done either, which is always a plus. We've been to many hospitals over the years and you're often left waiting for hours for even the tiniest thing. You're often left forgotten about, uninformed, or rushed and unable to get questions answered! This hospital was the exact opposite. Even with the renovations going on, they kept things easy going and organized. If we had to go to a hospital again, this is the one we would try to return to if able. Staff were all wonderful! We have absolutely no complaints! read more

Went to this hospital Friday afternoon. From start to finish was a disaster. the triage nurses cut me off and dismissed me when asking questions. one of the two triage nurses blew my vein and then continued to fish and try to get blood out of it. When I got into the Er room and was disrobing two nurses opened the door and exposed me to people walking by. My husband had to jump in front of me and then close the door. The doctor was dismissive to my symptoms and then lied on my MyChart. They Did nothing for my issues gave me pain killer for hypertension and sent me home no better than when I got there. this experience was the worse I have ever had. I would rather die than ever set foot in this hospital again. read more

Earlier the emergency room staff were pretty good. I was pleased with their treatment of my almost 90 year old Mom it's after 8 p.m. now and rude, rude, rude and snippity is all I see. read more

Before I continue my review, I would like to state that this is a review of 1 Doctor, not the staff. The staff is kind and understanding and very polite. On 11/18/2024 I was taken to the ER by ambulance for breathing problems that had been going on for 4 days at that point. I have an extensive cardiac history amongst other health issues: Coronary artery disease Congestive heart failure Unstable angina Vasculitus Anemia Hypothyroidism History of myocardial infraction Peripheral arterial disease Hyperglycemia Hyperlipidemia Atherosclerosis of Arota Left cariod artery stenosis Kidney disease stage 3b Anxiety Depression Asthma Gastric ulcer Diverticulitis disease of colon While in the ambulance they put me on oxygen which helped alot. When I got to the ER I asked several time to have some oxygen and I was told no several times because my oxygen level were fine. Didn't matter to them that it help me regardless of the reading. They did a CT scan and an xray and saw nothing. The ER Dr suggested I be admitted for observation because the reason for the breathing wasn't presenting itself easily. The hospitalist, Dr.Dumbass, aka Dr. Nardow ( If thats how you spell it ) decided to say it's an anxiety/panic attack. Ordered a breathing treatment and Ativan ( thru my IV ) . For those that don't know, Ativan makes you tired, so of course it's going to help calm things. Who on earth has an anxiety/panic attack that lasts 4 days. I was sent home with no referral to a cardiologist or pulmonologest. This morning I woke up again having problems breathing. I called the er 3 times today for the name of the hospitalist who sent me home and all 3 times no one would help. I was told to call hospital records. Tonight I got an email letting me know that I have new test results on the patient portal. My B-type Natriuretic peptide was 150 which according to the site, is high. I was not told that at all. Dr. Dumbass chose to ignore telling me about it because it has been high in previous tests. Wouldn't consistently high results mean something? Dr. Nardow should be fired. I am never going to this hospital again and I will be filing a formal complaint and contacting a lawyer. read more

All of my doctors are fabulous from Dr. Alejo - primary care, Dr. Hospodar - Orthopedic, Dr. Huggins - Neurosurgeon

We found the care at this hospital to be exceptional. Dr. Singh was thorough, informative, and attentive to the needs of my elderly mother. He went so far as to share her chart and explained each test administered to her and interpreted the results. The nurses, Brandi and Shaq, demonstrated equal competency and compassion. They were quick to respond to her needs and took their time with their care of her. We did not encounter a single employee who was not polite, efficient, and truly compassionate. It's a wonderful place that is truly invested in the care of its patients! read more

My elderly mother received exceptional care over her three day visit. Not only was everyone knowledgeable about their job, they were also compassionate and kind. Brandi and Shaw, my Mother's nurses, were the absolute best, and Dr. Singh was not only thorough, but explained every aspect of Mom's care. Wonderful job, and thank you to all! read more

My grandma fell and was being treated at Walter Reed. I was scared when I read the reviews online about this hospital, but my experience was amazing. I couldn't ask for better care for my grandma, the nurses have been attentive and considerate. They have gone above and beyond to keep her comfortable and in good spirits. It means a lot to me and my family that she is able to receive this level of personal care. The facility is also newly renovated, aesthetically pleasing and very clean. read more

Specifically regarding pain management. I have IC and its been well documented for 20+ years. This disease ranks in the top 10 most painful diseases, yet I'm repeatedly denied pain control. Pain management clinic denied my doctors referral because they only treat skeletal muscular pain. Primary will not prescribe pain meds nor will Urologist. This is quite frustrating. Especially as the US urology guidelines clearly state opiate pain meds can be given to IC patients to help with chronic pain. I get no relief from pain ever. Why is my pain discounted as being unimportant? I'm not an addict. I'm not a pill seeker. I just want to not hurt all the time. As it is I feel like I have acid in my bladder and urethra all the time. Severe pressure in pelvic floor. Constantly need to pee. I've undergone multiple diagnostics. This disease is not imagined. I'm tired of being treated as if my pain is unimportant. read more
